Started reading this thread because I can't stand any of our local McD's. It hit me, while reading this stuff, that we have a McD right down the street from work and I never see anyone on lunch with a McD bag. Hardee's/CarlsJ, Wendy's, A&W/LongJohnSilvers, TacoBell, and local resturants, but never McD's! And you have to pass it to get to most of the other places.

Hardee's Thick Burgers usually get my vote for fast food burger.

I must say that I eat at these places all the time in my travels from Hauling job to the next.

First off, Im always polite to the staff no matter if they are on the ball or if they are new or not all that with it. Ive never worked at one of these places & never would want to , I see the way other customers order food & think they are king of the world & treat the workers like crap, Not me I appricate that they are serving me food I need to get thru the work day. All these cranky, impatient people who want to make fun of the low wage worker its sad , they are doing a job many wouldnt do but you can sure go there & complain that they dont do everything pefect for $7 or so a hour. Sure they get my orders wrong quite a bit (I order my hamburgers plain with nothing on them) if its wrong I just walk back to the counter & nicely tell them what I wanted & its fixed, nothing to get all heated around the collar about.

Overall Hardee's has the best food by far, im talking the new Hardee's not Hardee's of years past. The breakfast whoops Mcdon's & the lunch is the best ever.

I dont like Burger King the Quality of food is in the tank,, Mcdonalds is ok sometimes but it can be either good or real bad. Culvers is good, wendys is good most of the time.

Since yall got a story here's mine

a few years ago the Mrs and I was traveling in Michigan, and stopped to grab a bite at a McD's somewhere along the way. Since the drive thru was backed up all the way to Texas, we went inside and ordered. There was about 6 people ahead of us that had been waiting for their food appearently for some time, one young guy in particular. He finally got his food, and when he checked to be sure it was right he found it not what he asked for. He let the trailer trash manager know it wasn't what he asked for and she got an attitude with him and told him if you wanted it that way then you have to say blah, blah blah. He got upset and threw the whole bag and nailed her in the face with it. He hung around I think to get the right order, luckily our order came up and we boogied out of there before a shoot-out began.

I agree, McDonalds are not all that bad.
If they were a bad eating establishent, they wouldn't be worldwide.
They put a lot of money & effort back into the community also.
I'm sure everyone has heard of Ronald McDonald House.
The people that work there are making a honest living, although there are some employees & stores that mgiht not be up to par on a day to day basis.

I'm sick of fast food altogether. Whenever I want a burger I go the Wing Zone which serves a restaurant type of hamburger. It's a little pricier than McDonald's & Burger King but its a lot better because it's like getting a restaurant burger at your house.

McDonald's, I stopped eating there a while ago, the only time i eat out, I go to chicfila, taco bell, or wendys. I try to avoid fast food though, i take enough cafeteria food intake to ever want fast food, this stuff is like cardboard on a stick, wait, it may have actually been cardboard, hmmmmm, but yeah, I don't eat out a lot unless it's a sit down restaurant, no kitchen, so yeah, forced to eat elsewhere. Isn't college great.

I had to eat at McDonalds yesterday in WRJ VT. The soda was flat and the fries were cold. Just to show that I don't hardly ever go there. What a dumpster place.

i too dont care for mcdonalds, and i dont really eat fast food that much anymore, but if i or my wife want fast food, we most always go to Chick Fil A
they serve very good food, and good prices, and most importantly to me, are christian owned, and they have respect for their employees and are closed on sundays.
