Well, nowadays you gotta die from something. Seems like every time I turn on the Tv they've got a new pill for finger pain.

Pulling up like that is called the Removed by FTE lane. Seriously. Usually reserved for customers who special order stuff. I have refused and even requested my money back on more than one occasion. On the other hand, you don't block the register when you're inside do you? The McDonalds by my house is staffed by 14yr olds,

Racial Remarks Removed

Ugh I've worked at Both Whataburger and MC-Donalds...Why didn't you just pull up? Customers that would argue over the dumbest things irritate the hell out of workers who would every day grow more and more hatrid for customers which would in turn affect...customer satisfaction. And for the Mexican Comment that was completely unwaranted. In my own restraunts of service I never once saw Microwaves anywhere in the facilities. Any and All food is thrown out if left sitting for more than a couple of minutes (includeing french fries). Well all that assumeing the managers are actualy manageing. As for incorrect orders this could also be do too the fact the stores might have had an abundance of news guys/gals. Learning how too use the registers can be diffacult as they are surpriseingly complex. And also for the burger assemblers who may be new, the pressure is on too complete the orders and trying to remember what goes on which sandwich can sometimes or often times override what is actually on the screen by mistake....As for the quality of the meat, I cannot comment since well...I'm young so I don't know how the quality was 20 years ago.

I certainly hope we don't see any more racial remarks.

In any case, those kids just want a job, and its good to see them working instead of the many other things that they could be doing that you see on the evening news.

I have 5 or 6 McD's I might go to during my weeky travels. Some are better than others, it depends on the owner and local and regional managers that help run the store. I eat at one McD's, the others are no good. One store always gives me good service and at least fair food. They never, I mean never made me wait, or pushed me up like that. It is located at RT202 and County Line Rd in Chalfont ,Pa..... good job guys!

Now this is absolutely hiliarious. This is a thread about fast food, in a forum that banns political discussion and right now in the upper left corner ad is a spot for W-Ketchup (I know it will cycle through other ads). At www.wketchup.com Hmmmmmmmm I wonder if they make W-57?

all this whining about your hamburgers and now you don't like the guy making the hamburger. maybe he doesn't like you either. what the hell do you expect. people want to stuff their face with 99cent burgers and tacos and **** and the guy inside is making 5$ an hour and has to put up with your "i'm the customer" attitude

i worked in fast food for years and i never spit in anyone's food but i hated those people come in and wanna lecture you or pull a power trip cuz you're serving them cheap food

screw that.. if you don't like it here there's a burger king down the road

we go to macdonalds once a week. i'm not crazy about the food by my g/'f likes the big macs. but she gets in the line to be helped by the same girl every time. they're like friends now talking about makeup and stuff.

if its easier for them if you pull up ahead then pull up ahead.

Only fast food I eat anymore is Wendy's

Wendys is ALMOST real food...

Around here, it is literally just as fast to go to any of the local non-chain, sit-down burger restraunts and eat and leave as it is to go through the drive-through at the corrugated-burger places

I work for Arby's now, but have worked for both Wendy's and McDonalds. Wendy's is the ONLY fast food place you want to eat. Arby's undercooks the food, and then lets their holding cabinets cook it the resto fo the way. McDonalds (at least the one I worked in) was terrible on food quality. Grade c beef, labeled grade A, chicken sandwich portions that tasted like cat meat. I won't even get into how tight the manager was.... Wendy's will not serve anything that sits. Fries are thrown away after 5 minutes, burgers are taken HOT OFF THE GRILL and placed on the sandwich. If the burgers get dry, they are put in a hot holding cabinet (for less than an hour) and then frozen to be later boiled and used for chili. Wendy's also has the STRICTEST food safety, and cleanliness policies. For those whining about the no gloves, think about this..... The glove do nothing, the harbor more bacteria than your hands. I'm also willing to bet that my hands are cleaner than yours. Do you wash them at least once an hour (health department requirement)? Do you even take the time to wash them before you eat? If you do it's pointless if you used the mens room.... Think of the number of people that go to the bathroom and don;t wash their hands... That bacteria is all over that door, and when you touch it it's on your hands. The employees are required to wash their hand EVERY time they step away from a food preperation station (another health department mandate).

Whoa easy boys. I didn't expect this kind of response to this thread topic.

My rant is that McD's is cheating on their pit stops. If I pulled foward the clock stopped ticking padding their stats. Sounds like something NASCAR would do for Earnhart.

UGGGHHHH GOTTA LOVE CORPRATE AMERICA.

PS I'm a Earnhart Fan.

The health dept codes are fairly uniform. It is up to management to enforce them. I have seen very few restaurants of any kind where they were enforced. Minimizing waste is very important in any food service business.

I never actually cooked Food At McDonalds. But when it came to Whataburger I was a burger flipper/ sometimes fried stuff....Anyways All meat hits the griddle the instant its orderd and placed on the burger stuff that is assembled while the meat cooks. All French Fries are fried on demand and thrown out if left sitting for a few minutes....only one thing was Pre-cooked that I recall...Chicken. The none Fried for the chicken Sandwiches. Even then it was taken out of its trays and cooked a couple of minutes longer before bein served.
