Eric, if the manager's don't enforce the restrictions, people get sick. Then the health department finds out which place it was, and either fines them tens of thousands of dollars, or shuts them down......

McDonalds has never been my favorite, their always seems to be better out there.
I'll never eat there, unless its unavoidable, I.E when nothing else is around. But thats just me.

I like Wendy's and Subway, okay. But I wouldn't want to eat at either establishment everyday.

Why would you say that?

All the ones I have ever been to serve breakfast from 6 to 10 am.

People get sick all the time they just don't report it. Severe problems don't happen very often. We just get lucky most of the time. I have seen violations in almost every restaurant I have ever been in. If you look too hard you won't eat out at all. Unfortunately the home kitchen is usually a big violator.

boy is that not the truth, it's a known fact your home kitchen is the biggest vioator, start with the towel every one keeps near the sink or the dish rag near by, no one would ever eat out again.

I worked at a McDonald's when I was in high school...for all of three days. I have never had had a job where I was treated so badly by management. And since then, I haven't eaten at one more than a few times, and that's only been when someone I was with insisted on going there. After the things that I saw while working there, just the thought of the place is enough to turn my stomach; burgers/buns dropped on the floor and picked back up and served to the unsuspecting customers, as long as the manager didn't see it, and wash our hands? Hah! What's that mean?. I know most of the other chains aren't really much better, but I have special dislike for McD's. Another thing that gets me is trying to order a burger without onions. I can't eat them, they mess with me something awful, and trying to get McD's to fix a burger without them just doesn't work, they screw it up every time and put them on anyway. Our only other choices here are Burger King, Jack/box, or Taco Smell, which I don't eat at very often because they don't sell Dr. Pepper. -TD

Drop a bun on the floor and use makes your stomach sick. Come on TD, I bet you have dropped food worse places (garage, sidewalk, grass) picked it up and still ate it. We all have. Fast food places mop their floors more often than most people. I ate at a mcdonalds in Korea. They wouldn't let you throw away the cups. Quite sure they recycled them through other customers. Eat in any restaurant in some other countries and you will think American fast food is the most sterile place you have ever eaten.

I worked at McDonalds too (straight out of high school) ... mopping the floor doesn't make anything clean, unless you're mopping with bleach water (and changing it often). Our floors in the grille area stayed so greasy, you could barely stand up! They were hardly sanitary.

No comments on my old job, Sonic?? Burgers are cooked fresh. 90% of time, fries are fresh too. Only thing that it's not fresh is the Chili and Corn Dogs. I hate the place, but I still eat there
