I am glad Ford listens to you and fixes problems since they sure as heck don't listen to me except to tell me that exaust in my cab is normal! So, since they listen to you would you be so kind as to tell them to please fix it? Since it seems you don't think it hurts Ford to buy it back why do they fight it so hard? In fact, send them over they can have mine and I will get another.
You want your truck fixed I'll give you my dealers number and I will see it through.......Not being hard on you, sounds like a dealer issue, as in most posts here. Might be out of your way to come to Ohio, but you will never have exhaust in the cab.
Maxium, don't kill me I just typed what was said to me.. If you look at this board for example you will see posts asking if the '03 bugs are fixed or if it safe to buy an '05. Do you think these are just a few random people? I hear this all of the time. Heck, if someone sat and went through this board it might scare the bejesus out of them. What happens if people get so gun shy from the mess so far (and yes it is a mess no matter what anyone says) that they just quit buying Fords for a couple of years? I think that was the theme of his statement. I also think the definition of a mess is what is happening with Ford warranty, hotline, and the factory.

Sounds like you have dealer problems.
Another problem is people who have never owned a diesel getting used to diesel smoke smell. Some never do. The cab air intake is in the cowel and if you point the exhaust into the wind, it will blow into your cab air intake every time.

I agree, I could have dealer problems so I went to another and we will see I guess. I have owned several Diesels both large and small and while I don't mind the smell of Diesel on occasion I don't like it blown in my face whenever I drive. You truely have to sit in one of these that is pumping into the cab to appreciate how bad it gets.
I guess no one read what I typed on page six about banks products.
Now just arm chairing here, the Banks does hook into the computer wiring harness, and Banks probably has a step by step guide so you do not trigger a code. As far as the truck not running, I could not say.
was the fact that Ford was taking the issue of lifted trucks more seriously. That they have requested dealers to now take pictures of any lifted trucks so that the warranty can be voided on the drive train
But what if you bought your truck from the dealer new and it was already lifted? My dealer assured me that I was covered 100% by the factory warranty as well as my extended warranty.
Ok, it is not time for me to chime in on this yet...
I will see how it goes.
Don't wanna spoil all the fun right off the bat
They apper to be on the right trail, I;ll wait also and see if they figure ut out
By the way, many dealers including Rockwaall Ford in Rockwall texas, Builds and sells mega lifted trucks in their own shops. If they deny some, they must deny all.
