I guess I'm the Lone Ranger for the next two hours unless someone happens to stop in. We are double covered for Thursday morning shift so if you fellas are missing me by this time tomorrow then either the internet is down or I've submitted a vacation slip and I'm off. If so I'll be back bright and early for the Sun. morning shift.

Oh yea, sorry. I was trying to figure out this Ryans date thing, but I gave up. I think I missed something.
Not sure if I mentioned this in the past......I got my approved leave of absence from my employer the other day.
For sure fresh news....Got me a temp job in Ohio this afternoon.
Be working for a previous employer who is trying to get this back together. Said they could use my help....a five minute conversation with the G.M. got me hired for my 3 or 4 months, or longer if I like. Sweet.
Feels good to be wanted/needed for the job they already know I can do.

Nice going on the job offer. When do you think you will start? What will your current employer say about it? I found a funny story about the last place I worked at. A guy faxed an employment application to what he thought was the new place. He actually sent it to his current employer. They fired him.

Thanks, I'm kinda impressed. These guys down here know where I'm goin and all. I do havta keep in touch. They're cool with it. They didnt even bat an eye when they gave me the LOA. They've known for a while I was having problems. Its a smaller outfit, & like to keep up with their employees. They originaly thought I was gonna quit when I scheduled a meeting with the Ops Mngr. A LOA was kinda like a relief I guess.
What made them look at me weird was when I told em that a previous employer hired me for the time I'll be away with a $2.95 an hour raise over my pay here.
Oh, my last day here is November 20th. The new place expects me very near the 1st of December. Most likely, I'll roll in Monday the 29th. Not sure, see how I feel about then.

Pep I would have been there to keep you company but I took the morning off on vacation. It's nice when you're doubled up and taking off on one of three nights isn'y such a big deal. I'll be back for the Sundat am shift, starting on Saturday night at 2300
