I am going to pack up everythign out of my grandma' garage so we can move her out this weekend. I don't want to touch anything breakable inside, the heavy stuff is all getting moved on Saturday so what do I need to do. AH, I can handle the garage stuff, it's really where I belong anyway. This way if they need me for something they come and get me and then I return to my endless work that could actually be done in a few minutes, know what I mean?

My mom thinks we're doing this Friday night. We can do it Friday night but all the help I have arranged for isn't showing up till Friday morning. Plus I have a date Friday night.

I've helped with houses like that, but most of the small stuff has been moved and there is all the big stuff. At first my grandma will be going to my aunts house about 6 blocks away then to an assisted living place about 10 miles away. The house sold earlier than expected and we've been taking stuff out ever since. Many of the things hse knows she woldn't be able to take with her she has already decided where they are going to and some of that has been done. The basement is done, the garge will be done after tomorrow and thehouse isn't that big. There are two small things I have to fix which will also be done tomorrow. But mom is flying off the handle (nothing new) cause I said no to Friday night, it would just be me, her dad and grandma anyway.

Really as long as stuff is sorted out before the "moving crew" arrives abd things are ready or close to ready to go then you can empty a house rather quickly.

I have found out that the big stuff is easy. The small stuff that you need to put into boxes is what is hard.

Exactly, and a large majority of that has been done already. My mom knows how quick I work, I get down to it and get it done. Women!!!
