Well rywegh, I'd love to go, but it won't be possible what with time off, travel expenses and the current national security problems. You see I have a son whose autistic and going through airport security is almost impossible. If they were to separate us and want to talk to him, then we'd be thrown out of the airport for sure!
No, I'm afraid until things ease up on the security checks and they realize that not everyone can deal with the stricter enforcement, my travels will be limited to what I can drive to!
HB, if you were to make it just fly into St. Louis and the convoy would pick you up. Ryn, you still up for it, I don't know if you and Pep would come in on I-64 or I-70 but we could meet up and convoy the trip out, but only if we play the convoy song and have cb radios to listen to each other.
Ryan, not that I would make it but at least an invitation, I mean come on man we're damn near family on this thread alone. 450 miles, probably not. Add a quail hunt and then we may be in business. LOL Trying to get away this past weekend would have been tough, busy at the hunting club, busy with friends/church/parties etc. Tell King Pepster I said hello.
I think Pep, somebody else and somebody else and I were going to meet in Nashville, IL along I-64 approx. 1 hour east of St. Louis.
When are they planning this does anyone know?

No matter what you have to go. Regardless. I really appreciate the trucking industry. Without it the country stops. Everything you buy comes on a truck. Hats off to you guys.
The only time I didnt head down the road was the time there was about 2 inches of ice over everything, the only reason I didnt go is because I couldnt get into my truck for about 2 hours while I melted the ice on the door with a hairdrier That day really sucked
Yeh we get those kind off days. Bet you wished you had a heated shed that day. I am appalled by how fast people drive when the roads are crap. They dont slow down a bit. Then they wonder why they go in to the ditch.
