I am honored to say that I used that feature last week to report a bad post. The guy was asking advice on meeting a chick and it was a link to a **** site. I flagged it and I think another guy did too and it didn't hang around long.
You could make all of us night shifters moderators and we'd clean this place up quick. LOL!!
Hey! you in Sarnia? I don't know if you're "of age" but if you are - would you know if the LCBO in Sarnia would carry Sleeman's Cream Ale?
I got turned onto that stuff when I went to Oakville last summer and I tried to get him to pick some up the next time he comes across and heading in my direction.
Yes, I am in Sarnia. I don't know if they carry it. I am "of age" but don't drink. Sorry.
Bird, thanks for that report. I nailed that post fast and banished the user. As soon as we get a few more things settled in moderator land I am sure we will be looking for more mods. This place is growing extremely fast we get anywhere from 100-200 new user registrations per day. We try to automate as much stuff as we can. We have a new FTE support system that is replacing the "contact us" system soon. We also have so many new features and additions to the forums coming. -Just wait!
Good evening everyone. Seems kinda like the night shift should be around.....
Here it is almost midnight here, and no one here.
There ya go, three heres in one sentence.
0500 comes early......catch ya all later.
Can't wait to hear that info. That way we can make plans to go. Hopefully a lot of members will show up. I think it will be a great time. WOuldn't mind having the chance to personally thank Ken for such a great site.
Actually a guy I go to church with has been working with me for several weeks to get a guided hunt planned with several of his clients and today was the day of the hunt. It went well, except for teh part where I bent over while standing in thicker brush and a broke-off johnson grass stalk stuck me in the eye. It hurt like hell and I couldn't see right, one of the guys was looking at my eye because I thought my contact lens had moved, well it was gone. The good thing is just Monday I was thinking it was about tiem to change those lenses, glad I didn't yet. Tonight before coming in I opened a new lens pack and I'm good to go for the next 6 months. And yes I will start wearing eye protection from now on.
I have another guided hunt in the morning, more guys spending more money, should be a fun one.
Glad you didn't damage your eye. Have you thought about Lasik. I had it done back in June and love it. You would still need to where some type of shooting glasses.
Never been hunting for birds before. Might have to try it some time. I hunted Wild Turkey before but got lucky and found it sitting on the shelf.
Where in Ky do you live? We could work something out to go on a quail hunt if it ain't too far. I have some trips planned soon so I don't want to travel too aweful much.
I have thought about teh lasik but it is costly isn't it. Last time I looked it was 3k or something per eye maybe, maybe less I don't know. Considering how much of a tightwad I am and I have a supply of contacts till summer of 06 it will be till then before I do it.
