Another Bob lie. I never said anything even remotely close to a majority of these motors being bad.

I sure wish it was a hoax. Then I wouldn't have had to go through a DSB process to force ford to do the right thing as so many others have on this motor.

But, believe whatever you want. I'm not going anywhere.
Jeb many here, have put up with you low level constant stirring of problems with the 6.0...you have got your issues cleared with Ford MOVE on....yes; you stay within the Guidelines....However STOP. It is getting very OLD, all you ever write, is negative. Including in other fourms...within FTE!!!
There must be a site that you can go to and enjoy your subliminal message sending.

Now you statement: But, believe whatever you want. I’m not going anywhere.
This tells me you know what you are doing and will continue: unacceptable.

From the Guidelines:
If a moderator asks you to stop doing something please comply with the request. Just because something isn't listed in these guidelines doesn't mean its acceptable and we handle issues on a case-by-case basis.

It has always been my diesire to get my truck fixed, and I am continuing do do that, I would like to say ,and I am not trying to start any thing it is not quite as simple as bob states to get the truck fixed. In many areas of this great country there are limited dealers to take your truck, and then you have to find a dealership that is willing to work with you most seem to take the position that it is us against them ,them being dealer and ford against consumer, when it should be lets all work together to resolve the problem because good news never travels as fast as bad, and if we work to get the problem trucks fixed it will spread fast and that would be the end of the rumors, about the 6.0. Also bob you do come on a little to hard on the people that post problems, just something to think about if you disagree that is your right but if you dont respond quite so tough it might cut down on the diesire to state the bad things that some have experienced so strongly. my great grand dad had a saying that applies here, MAN PROVEN AGAINST HIS WILL IS OF THE SAME OPINION STILL. just my thoughts.

I don't have a problem with the few that state their case, get the information we give them and work to gether with their dealer to get their problem resolved. I do have a problem with someone who every time someone comes on this forum with a problem, jumps on the thread and hijacks it in order to use it as a platform to bash Ford. This kind of selfish conduct degrades and destracts from the purpose of the thread which is to help people.
My Daddy had a saying too which was plainly understandable. "You can't help people who don't want help. They just need a reason to complain" He understood that some people can't live without complaining. Do a search on your own posts and see how often you have been a positive influence with help or encouragement when you post or are you selfishly using the threads to spout your own complaints and negative opinions. The Bible teaches that people who judge themselves tend not to be judged. Think about it.

"Anytime you get into a urinating contest all you get is wet boots"

That's what my kids Daddy always says.

Plenty of wet boots around here lately. Getting tried of sloshing around in it myself.

And you can't throw manure without getting it on you. I know.

I hate this kind of thing. I'm just tired of these people using this forum to bash Ford and the rest of us. They undermine the purpose and intended spirit. Eventually if we don't confront them, we will all leave because none of us want to hear it. Some things are worth fighting for.

I agree with alot of what your saying, but when you cant get your problems solved it is not as much about bashing ford as not wanting others to go through what many of us are. as far as my posts, there have been many that could be taken as negative, but from my perspective it is more about here is what is hapening to me. just think if when someone posted a bad experience they were always encouraged by guys like you and others instead of confronted it might go along way toward the purpose and spirit, and some times it helps to have somewhere to vent. where others have been, it just is pretty hard to take when you drop 40k on truck and cant get it fixed. enough said by me.

TN MAC...
I totally agree with the need to blow off steam once in a while....
Heck I do it ALL the time...
My pressure regulator is set at about 1 LB of boost to pop off

but I do it off the record because a LONG time ago I heard a guy named Cabot Robert give a speech and the ONE thing I came away with was his statement:
"Don't bother people with your troubles all the time, 80% of the people really don't care, and the other 20% are glad you're having trouble"

While we do care as evidenced by our many attempts to help...
And correct me if I'm wrong in that I did try to help....

No human being wants to hear the same troubles over and over and over....
Our systems are not built to enjoy that - so we'll move on....

YOU have not been continually on it because I've conversed with you and you are seriously trying to get it resolved...
but some go on and on and on and on and on .......
And are so argumentative as to NEVER get any more help....

My time on this Earth is limited so, like most, I choose to try to help where :
1) I see a possibilty to help
2) I want to help
3) I see some appreciation for the FREE help...

Good Luck !

I took off for a while. The wife and I went for a drive. We take this great 03 6.0L powered truck. Took me a while to catch up.

So I went back and read the article that the naysayers are using as a banner. It's almost a year old! And it is full of inaccuracies. It mentions recalls. At the time of that writing there were no recalls for the 6.0. He quotes some technician that said for the first five months "Every customer that bought a truck built before the fifth month had to have at least one injector replaced,". Maybe at that dealership but that is not a true statement.

The point here is that there are two of you out there who can consistently be counted on to post negative comments regarding the 6.0 whenever anyone asks about the 6.0. If you don't make an outright negative statement, you make innuendos. It is the same old dribble. Perhaps your negativity is what got you less than satisfactory service. You can't go around being negative all the time and expect people to act positively toward you.

I am tired of this too. But everytime things get going smooth, you can count on some of these to make an inference or downright negative comment. I think they get a perverse pleasure on making others anxious. Get some help, but I for one are not going to abandon this forum and have it wind up like some of the others.

Exactly what is it I'm suppose to stop doing?

I post factually. I have first hand experience with the 6.0PSD and intend to continue posting about it. I don't believe I'm in violation of any guideline either written or implicit here. Asking me to stop posting becuase you don't like what my experiences are and what my opinions are based on that experience seems to say you only want good news posters here. If so, you should really put that in guidelines.

Now you statement: But, believe whatever you want. I’m not going anywhere.

You're jumping to conclusions. I'm only responding to obvious attempts, like yours here (There must be a site that you can go to and enjoy your subliminal message sending.), IMO, to drive me off the board. Sorry, I've got real world experience with this motor and I intend to continue to share them. I'm sorry you view them as negative, I do not. I view them as factual from a non-brand blind person.

And, IMO, most of the threads that go negative are dragged there by others.

So are you saying that when someone comes on the site and asked for opinion about the 6.0 no one should share there bad experiences, or should I try to word them different, it just seems if we all post the real life things that happen to each of us it will all work out in the end, if it is taken for what it is my real life experience, and theway I INTERACT WITH THE DEALERSHIP IS TO TRY AND GET THEM TO HELP AND BE CLEAR ON WHAT I EXPECT NO NEGATIVE JUST WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE TRUCK.

jeb...factual?

"I just had mine bought back a couple of weeks ago and there have been many hundred, and probably thousands, before me."

This is one of your "only factual posts"?

Not exactly what I'm saying TN... and plase understand I'm trying to help...

What I am trying to say is that maybe I'm misunderstanding what the NAME of this site stands for ------ Ford Truck Enthusiast ?

And as my Ex-wife used to say to me ALL the time ....
"It's not WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it"
(Bet most of us have heard THAT one )
And DARN, if she wasn't right once !
the marraige went bad a LONG time ago and we both knew it, just tried to do the right thing for the kids... which was EXACTLY the wrong thing as hindsight has taught me !

I finally decided that moving on was the best choice -
a DIFFICULT choice - but hindsight also has taught me it was the best choice ....

A long aside, but one that illustrates (I hope) that the cosntant bickering begins to immediately lower the volume of what is being said in MOST audiences mind.... We just start to "tune out" - and then we get SICK of it...
just like if you're watching TV and the SAME commercial has been on 20 times ---
for me, they've LOST a potential customer with that type of repitition...

**************************
Now....
There are other, much more negative sites, that are easily located and have even been used as "source docs" for some of the info posted here...

Their negativity is a reason I personally do not visit those sites...
which coincides with the same reason I don't go visit "certain" sections of any urban area - I CHOOSE not to expose myself to that environment....

So far we're still able to CHOOSE where we spend out time....

And honestly... maybe I'll let the negativity win... and move on...

(Notice there was NO mention of trucks in this post ?!?!)
If I have a problem - I address it - try to fix it if possible -
if not, I learn - and move on...

But there are SOME things we have to fight for when it's important enough...

So far, this world has been big enough that I can JUST move along... but more and more it's getting too crowded and too many are usurping their "freedom" to create issues that it's time to fight....
but we need to ensure we are fighting the ENEMY - not the friends
