Did any one go to the auto defects tab at the top of the page HOLY smoke I clicked on Chevy Suburban...O-WOW..........any one you click on has had some problems.....hum....does that mean that a mass produced vehicles (of any brand) could have problems at times.........of course they were not major stuff, some fires, break failures, a few tires and some other parts falling off but nothing like a computer problem...

I know but the point is that Jeb is a Ford hater attempting to keep alive the internet hoax that 6.0 diesels are bad. This makes him a liar and a thief. A liar because of his fabrications and a thief because he is attempting to drive down the value of our trucks. He is stealing from all of us.

Don't get me wrong Bob, I'm with you. Either way, if the actual buy back number is a bit more, or less, % wise it's pretty minimal.

Exactly but the way he represents it as the majority of 6.0s is pure fabrication. He knows that most people will never examine the article. They would just accept it as proof because who would lie?

Not the way some tell it. Chevys are perfect...just an oversight. Who would notice?

I have never been to a site like that......it was an eye opening experience...my problem I just do not care about visting sites that have little or no credibility.

And I take the Suburban stuff with a grain of salt also

I doubt any one who has had trouble, asked for it and it seems unfair to call someone who has had a bad experience a ford basher, it is sometimes very hard to get the help you need to get the truck fixed, and it is made worse when your dealer is not helping you . and all the trucks but one have been fixed or bought back BOB. One thing that I have had happen is the ford people dont know what to do to fix it and I have been to several dealers and they say if ther are no codes there is nothing they can do. It seems like others have reported that there dealership hooked up a recorded the computer activity and gave the techs something to go on, these seem like dealers that are trying to help but so far none of the dealers I have been even have a recorder. I do how ever agree that it appears that most of the problems are fixable with the right techs on the job but the responsiblity seems to be fords if you are going to sell diesels you MUST have trained 6.0 techs.

Everything you type is true and it is tuff.....but remember we are not the enemy we are part of you...Ford guys...the training thing I could not agree with you more. I have followed your issues from day one and you have gone out of your way to try… and get the correct or at the very least recognizable help you need…..IMO the dealerships have caused more problems the 6.0 itself…and for all you techs out there this is not a slam on your part….Ford corporate did not give you the tools to do you job.

Where are you with you DSB now?

I am still STUNNED by the fact with all the GOOD things going on and all the IMPORTANT things there are to do every day that someone would spend such an inordinate amount of time on an Entusiast web site continually singing the same song

Unless I was getting PAID to cause havoc in a competitors camp, I wouldn't waste my time... Life is too short... If I had that much trouble with ANYTHING, I'd get rid of it and move on !
Oh yeah, I did ---
a Pontiac Grand Prix back in the 60's, a Winnebago LeSharo in the early 80's, and a 7.3L about 18 months ago !

Go have fun on the Chevy board - Please and let us be entusiastic !

Tn Mac - this is not directed at you...
you know I've tried to help even privately !
I'm just speaking in general terms....
I mean with all the radicals that hate America in the world...
this could be our last days....if we can't turn it around....

I am hopefully... but I've read the Bible and WE are foolish enough to go right down that road.... Give NATO overseer rights to our elections ?!?!? Are they out of their minds ???

Sorry, soapbox slipped out there --- pushing it back under the desk !

Did I call you a Ford basher? Are you feeling guilty for being a Ford basher?
All I have been opposing is the unrelenting bashing of our trucks by a few hateful old men who are trying to punish Ford. They are perpetuating the internet hoax that 6.0s are bad. By doing this they steal money from me and the 6.0 owners by driving down the value of our trucks. They say they have the "right" to say anything. That is true. With the rights comes the responsibility to tell the truth. Also all of us have heard the same complaints over and over every day from the same two or three people. This seem crazy to me to expend this much effort just to punish Ford.

We also have the "right" to express our opinions. We have the right to oppose the Idea the trucks are defective. I will not however match the Ford haters in their fabrications.

If you purchased a truck from a privately owned dealer that has poor service why is that Ford's fault? It seems that is your fault for not checking out the dealer sufficiently.

As much time as you spend on this forum you should know exactly what is wrong with your truck. Why don't you tell your dealer what it needs. Why don't the Ford haters get their trucks fixed? jeb got his money back. Why is he still bashing Ford on this forum instead of making new friends at the Chevy forum?

Yep...post # 10...saw it comin'...spreading like a CA wildfire.

Hate being right all the time like my wife says I am. "oh yeah...you are always right"

But then again...I was right when I bought my perfect truck in the first place. 6.0 and all.

I wonder what the color of the sky is in your world. As much as it doesn't fit your perfect little picture of the world, I don't hate ford and I'm not trying to punish them. I assume that would be your MO since you seem such a vindictive person.

I sure wish it was a hoax. Then I wouldn't have had to go through a DSB process to force ford to do the right thing as so many others have on this motor.

But, believe whatever you want. I'm not going anywhere.
