You know how it would go....mine's got bigger.......is hotter.....dirtier.....will out perform.....has special properties....special abilities....will out pull.....out run......
When I bought my truck the dealership included one free oil change with the purchase. And they gave me a maintenance book from their service department after 10 oil changes the 11 one is free and if you have everything done at the dealership when you bring your truck in for trade present the booklet to the final price of your sale and the service department will give you 450 dollars off your new truck. I was told by the service to only present it after you came to a dollar agreement on your new truck and the service will eat the 450.00 to gain your continued business. With me trading trucks in every 4 years that's not a bad deal. Oil change with filters cost 80 dollars at the dealership. And if something goes wrong with the truck they eat not me because they were the last to work on it and maintain it. again with a 40k truck these are nickel's and dimes over the years.

That is very true. Non-6.0 Owners should come here to view or ask helpful, non-debated issues, and NONE should come here to participate in an argument. It bothers me that some people are so disturbed as to have to come here and harass just to fulfil thier lives. It actually seems quite sad
I don't own a 6.0, but I do own a diesel. There are plenty of topics in this forum that are general diesel discussions and debates and I enjoy the comradery of a lot of the members who post in this forum. I also enjoy discussing diesel engines and the issues that come up with them in general. There is no requirement that you own a 6.0 to participate in any thread that you wish. If you search my post history in this forum, you'll see that I have contributed plenty of information that I would like to think has been helpful to 6.0 owners and other diesel owners. BTW, there shouldn't be any arguments to begin with.
jeb, you are a big man for taking the high road. I hope others will follow your example.

Now you do have me curious. What brand and kind of diesel do you drive?

I have a 1997 7.3 PSD. I wouldn't own anything but a Ford diesel pickup. I plan on keeping it until I have about 250K miles and then trading it in. I have about 167K on it right now. One of the reasons I like to frequent this forum is to keep up on issues with the newer diesels. That may determine when I trade in my truck in the future. At any rate, I like talking diesel, especially Ford diesel which is why I frequent both this forum and the 7.3 PSD forum. A lot of the topics that come up are actually the same (problems are different). You guys should visit us old 7.3 PSD guys once in a while, some of you already do.
This is the perfect example of why I visit this forum outside of the technical diesel stuff. Although Bob and I often disagree on certian topics, we have enough respect not to talk down to one another in posts and keep it friendly.
