PSD 60L FX4 How is yor XMSN doing. I got a chance to talk to Brian at BTS (Brians Truck Shop) He is The Ford Xmsn Guru. See my post in Xmsn operation forum. He said that when he re-did the Tqshift with his mods he dropped 7 tenths of a second at the track. He said that this Xmsn isnt very effiecent. I had to get a new cell phone, so I lost your number. I'll email you the number by this afternoon.
Dumb question...what is Xmsn?
Since you talked to Brian, any time schedule on clutch packs and such for the torqshift?
Xmsn is short for transmission. Sorry I'm used to Army aviation terminoligy and abreviations. He has hard parts now, but is still waiting to finish the programing for his stand alone box. He said the ford programing sucks for the torqueshift.

I'm ordering my Water Injection components, and ran into a snag. When trying to order my .030 NOS jet, I see there are 2 different types....a flare and a funnel. Which one do I need???
ANy help and info on these 2 jets would be greatly appreciated.

Since he at least has a full line of components, he is quite a bit ahead of Suncoast...they have nothing but converters and clutches...no heavy modifications.
I am happy to hear BTS will have a stand alone transmission box; thats GREAT Exactly what some of these trucks need. Keep us posted on progress as you get information about it

Get the proper jet to fit your nozzle. I think the funnel fits the older type nozzel but you better check with NOS to be sure.
Ok, time to rack your brains guys...Bob, Kent, anyone else
Is it safe to inject water pre-turbo? I have debating giving it a try; common sense would say that it would have more of an effect due to the fact that it would have a longer time in the intake tract to absorb heat...but
Could it puddle in the intercooler (and if it did, would this be a bad thing?)
Would running water through the turbo compressor do have any short or long term effects?
I am talking a low-methanol, non-volatile mixuture here by the way, not my infamous 60/40 mix Don't care to have the turbo and pedestal come in the cab with me
The reason I am asking is that propane is injected pre-turbo to get a better mixture, just wondering if the same thing would apply with water...
