The transmission is beefed up. I do not know exactly what they do to it; im kindof leaving it up to them. I have to have a new transfer case, new u-joints, new driveshafts, new front hubs, a locker in the rear, a gear driven LS up front, new front hubs (i hope i get to keep my autolocking feature ) and I *believe* the factory ring and pinions stay.

If anythings gonna break, im gonna be sure i make it break as soon as i get it. That way, i can replace the weak links first thing. Im sure i will conduct a couple of launches before i even take it home

To be perfectly honest i havent put alot of thought into the driveline. Im leaving it in thier hands; anything they modify they warranty. You guys here and Ken are who I rely on for the facts; and i do appreciate the input i get from all you guys here, escpecially Bob and Bighoss.

Haha...thats right. And you are our crazy Indian.

Goodnight to you too.

As a side note, whats going on with the Superchips thread? Why is it closed? I noticed something was going on, but not exactly what, I cant make sense of the posts there...

By the way, anyone else notice our meandering conversation of psychotic horsepower babble has made it to 500 posts? And we only have like 3000 views...thats kind of funny. Maybe this is the reject thread?

Hindsight is always 20-20. It was the responsibility of the guy that sold it to him to caution him about the use of the product. That said, had we know we would have warned him that the mix was volitile.

Here's a new engine for him to dream about: http://www.bath.ac.uk/%7eccsshb/12cyl/

TALK ABOUT MOVING MASS !!!! et that thing takes hours to shut down !

I was just comparing our dyno charts bob...
neither one of ours builds much torque @ 102 RPM !!!!

let's see:
yours------------My
Rpm range-ft-lb--rpm range
2100-3300 600+ 2000-3300
2300-2800 700+ 2300-2600
2400-2500 728 max
-----------718 max 2375

-------------HP
2600-3700 >350+ 2600-cutoff
2300-cutoff 300+ 2300-cutoff
3000 387 max
-------------375 max 2900-3100

All good numbers for our few mods

Well babysitting isnt your job You guys do enough of it anyways. Having to be in debt to my parents and pay them back for god knows how much doesnt bother me nearly as much as not having my SD. Nothing is worse.

I know what you mean. Even the stock truck is such a joy to drive, it's more addictive than crack! Having mine tied up would be tough

Have they told you how long it will take them?
