BBBxcursion The owner of DPS is Ken Inglesman he is very Knowledgeable. his system is one of the best. He had it designed for diesels and uses steel braided lines. give him a call he will discuss water injection in great detail. if you plan on buying tell him the slaps boys sent you and he may give you a 5 percent discount.

This opens the door for all sorts of crazy overfueling, in turn making your gateway for some extreme power open up at significantly *less* risk than before.

Off the subject..is anyone else just now starting find the new 2005 SD front end to look cool? at first i didnt like it, but the more i look at it its starting to grow on me, it has a tougher look to it...i bet us 03/04 guys could get the grill, bumper, and headlights and bolt them on...

Let us KEEP this thread on the topic
Please start a new one if you need different info than this..

Tell me why we have a water seperator to take OUT the water, and hear how bad it is for your diesel,
but yet, we're talking about injecting water ?

water is bad to get into the injectors, the injection kits inject water into the air-not through the fuel.

In the ol' days they used to clean motors with water....take a garden hose and run the water right down the carb...you wouldn't believe all the carbon that flows out the exhaust. Just don't let it stall while your doing it!

Feel free to add to this list inside of this thread!

Water Injection Research:
-The Water Injection Information Site
-"Hydro Injection"

The last link is also a kit but they did some testing on their own and have shared the results.
This is the kind of information I'm desperate for.

The assumption that this is not a bolt on and go power adder is correct. This is like NOS or propane, It's risky but the risk is greatly reduced with knowledge.
Thanks.
We will over the next few days develop a consensus on how we should approach this.

This is perfect. I have everything except the pump and the check valve. I have some old race pumps but a new methanol race pump from Summit or Jeggs might be worth the money. Ken at Motorhaven might be able to order the pump.

Corrosion is a real problem with methanol. It eats normal seals and gaskets. It is inexpensive being available where they sell race gas for $4 or $5 per gallon.

We will have to rig our system with zippers and velcro. It should be as nearly self contained as possible so it can come out easily in case the truck needs to go to the dealer.

I expect the book tomorrow. I'll share what information is worth sharing.

Thanks bighoss550

Bob should be making around 1213.003 hp and 1558.99453 lbs of TQ
I figured that with a calculator that had low batteries.
Also confirmed my numbers with the overhead consol in my truck, I know that is always accurate.

Maybe 500 and 900! I'm glad the transmission is strong!

I have a NOS fogger nozzle, a .32 jet, some assorted steel braded fuel line.
Since we aren't pressurizing the tank, almost anything will do. I have a extra thick plastic methanol (blue) 5 galon gas can. I plan to strap it to my tool box.
There is a place , Hose Fast in Dallas, that makes up steel braded lines to order.

How much is the shurflo pump?

It just occured to me that I can hide the entire system inside my tool box.
