The switch may give me away unless I can hide it somewhere.

I've got my eyes on some rubber that should improve my tracton.

Tim, did you know the server pulls words from my posts? I will type the word, then beside it my substitute:
tire ....... rubber working now
battery ....... 12 volt electrical storage device. b a t t e r y pulled

Sure. It won't be much of a job. I will try to do much of it in my garage where I installed a window A/C a few years back. I'll probably do it over several days to make it easier. Mechanic work for me is best done like eating an apple, in small bites.
I'll let you know about the progress and holler when I need help. You can also come over and make the last connection and throw the switch!

Thanks for the offer to help!

No Problem...
what we usually do as part of our Lincoln LS club meeting at John-Eagle (YEAH - where they have the Aston-Martins!!!) is find out who needs something done on their car and do it as part of the meeting... Sonny, the owner, allows us to use a lift, and tools if needed... even "borrowed" a tech for a question or two ! NIce people over there!
we've done reverse sensors, cat-back exhaust, porterfield brakes, etc...

Nothing MAJOR, but it's nice to have a lift and certified tech right there !

AND they buy us pizza and soft drinks !!!

No lift in my garage. I am too fat to get under my step rails without jacking the truck up a few inches. At least I don't have to lay in the mud or insects.

I was wondering if you guys are planning on running distilled water. I've traveled around the country, and have seen some serious mineral deposites from hard water in diffrent places. I was just wondering if this would affect cylinder wear? your thoughts/ opinions would be greatly appreciated Jerry. I have been wanting to put a water injection on for months, but being miltary means I dont make as much $$$$ as some of you,so I'm very interested in the make it yo self kit.

Calm down! It has been rainig for two weeks and I really do work during the week. If I am in Dallas tomorrow(idon't know for sure) I will go by Hose Fast and get the braded line I need. I have
the pump,
the pressure switch (from an old NOS nitrous kit)
the nozzle (a NOS Fogger nozzle)
a micro switch to insure full throttle only operation
A tank picked out, ineed to go by my friend's Hot Rod shop and see how much and buy it.
A bunch of misc fittings
A close by hardware store.
I will work on it some this weekend!

I understand being a former Marine..and just because I have money this year is no guarentee i will have any next year or be able to spend it. That is why I nearly always try to fabricate my own stuff plus it is more fun that way. When I get it all together, I will take photos and post on my gallery. I plan on testing it on the dyno so you will know exactly what it will do.

On the distilled water, I think you may be on to something. I will try to use that. Some people use windshield washer fluid. It may be cheaper than distilled water and has alcohol content.
