It is actually both but the TV channel is only over in the UK; of course there is their website. The Sky Sports website has some good info but a lot of their video clips are UK "priority" and don't play for us; or at least me.... The best thing is they stream the F1 Fri practice along with P2 and P3 and do other interviews only seen thru them. I find myself watching both the TV and the online Sky feed! Haven't found a good source for up-coming events outside of normal race weekends but will post them if I find a link.
Looking forward to the winter testing! I know that won't be shown on NBC.... I hope NBC takes over where Speed left off but I am sure we will be introduced to the sport like first time viewers.
I see you got your first snow up there! I lived for a total of almost 5 years in Tahoe; both North (mostly) and South Shore. It sure has changed since the late 60's to early 70's. What a place!!!
Yes, we had some slushy snow here in Zephyr Heights but it added to the base on the mountain tops. Yesterday we have a nice snow, about six inches locally but that could be feet at the upper elevations. It was wet, high water content snow, heavy to move around.
Tahoe is a great place, been here since late '88.
Can't wait for F1 to get going again. I just wish that they would make it simpler rather than more complex. Also, [wishing again] that the engine formula would just specify the size and give them their two hours of fuel and let the race teams decide how to make it work. All the creativity is in aero and things that it are difficult to appreciate from the fans viewpoint.
Friday 14 December at 07:35 : Dec.14 (GMM) F1 team principals declaring Fernando Alonso the best driver of the 2012 season is "satisfying", Ferrari has admitted.
We will develop the 2013 car exclusively in the Toyota wind tunnel"
27 December 2012 - 12h05, by GMM Ferrari will develop the aerodynamics of its 2013 car exclusively in Cologne.
After encountering problems with its Maranello facility this year, Ferrari’s wind tunnel will be closed next year until August.
International reports, including in El Mundo Deportivo newspaper (Spain) and Kolner Express (Germany), said Ferrari has now turned its attention to Cologne, where the former F1 team Toyota rents out its state-of-the-art facility to clients.
Asked why Ferrari chose Cologne exclusively, team boss Stefano Domenicali said: "Because working in two wind tunnels would be too risky."
Team president Luca di Montezemolo added: "We will develop the 2013 car exclusively in the Toyota wind tunnel to avoid confusion and mistakes."
The Italian added that McLaren is also a regular customer of the Toyota tunnel.
Toyota Motorsport GmbH’s Rob Leupen commented: "Our clients are very happy with our wind tunnel services."
Well I hope they get their act together. Maybe being in a different facility will be change up they need. I heard something about design team changes too.

Bernie Ecclestone expects to be removed if he is found guilty of bribery

Bernie Ecclestone: Expects to go as F1 chief if found guilty of bribery
Bernie Ecclestone admits he could be removed from his role as Formula One supremo if he is found guilty of bribery by the German courts.
Ecclestone may face further action over the Gerhard Gribkowsky bribery case, for which the German has already been jailed for eight and a half years.
Gribkowsky was found guilty of tax evasion, breach of trust and bribery following the sale of Formula One to Ecclestone in 2005 and in the closing remarks Ecclestone was described as "the accomplice".
Ecclestone, who denies the charges, told the Sunday Telegraph that he will be forced to step down from his F1 role if he is charged and subsequently found guilty.
"[It] will probably be forced to get rid of me if the Germans come after me. It's pretty obvious, if I'm locked up," he said.
Ecclestone's comments about his future come after Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo said a change would be needed if German prosecutors acted.
"I hope for Bernie and F1 that nothing will happen," said di Montezemolo. "If Bernie is accused under process I think he will be the first to give a step back in the interests of Formula 1. This could be bad for F1."
While I'm not a fan of some of his recent ideas....Having a group make decisions about changes in the sports future is destined for a difficult path at best.
Four years ago their wind tunnel was the state of the art.....which means it was twenty years in front of Ferrari...supposedly and I believe it when the new Ferrari tunnel is done it will surpass any in F1 for years to come....the good thing, I think they are going to finish their own and then correlate the data with the proven tunnel of Toyota's........and come out with a better car for next year at the same time.
They never believed in one...the lived at their own test track....and had Michael doing 5K laps a year
I have no sympathy for Bernie but I hope his situation does not screw up F1.
However, I do think that the sport is way over regulated and I do think that Bernie has a lot to do with that problem. He is great and making deals and contracts with governments and race venues. But the technical areas he is not the best for the sport.

While I am far from Bernie's biggest fan, I think a lot of those technical regs are issues caused by the FIA.
