That “PETA” group held a protest in my area yesterday. They had a girl in a skimpy bikini painted up to look like a tiger locked up in a cage on Main Street. They were protesting the fact that the Ringling Brothers Circus is coming to town. They claim to follow the circus allover the country protesting this “terrible injustice to animals.”

What’s up with these people? Are they totally crazy or just don’t have a life? Has anyone seen similar protests in their area?

You should see the cartoon flyers they give to children, whom by PETA's own admission is their target audience. About a month ago they had one that depicted a housewife holding a rabbit by the ears. She had a very sadistic look on her face as she was stabbing the rabbit repeatedly with a big butcher knife. The rabbit was dressed in child like clothing and of course was screaming in agony with blood flying everywhere. The headline read : Mommy is a killer! They were giving these to small children and by many reports from parents, their child came home crying asking them if it was true.

You dont find much of that stuff up here, espically this time of year.Actually, the circus only comes up here once a year. That type of protesting seems foolish.I think those animals are well taken care of.I dont think anyone would get into the ring with an abused animal.that type of protesting is pointless.

OK, I’m leaning toward “TOTALLY CRAZY” as the explanation for their behavior.

How do they get away with that type of scare tactic?

well lets see,, last year one of peta`s men set off 2 pipe bombs( 2 diff locations) all in the name of some far reaching claim of animal testing. I can`t attest to the validity of they`re claims as far testing goes or right or wrong,I`m just saying c`mon ,to plant bombs around people,to make a point,,IDIOTS. Or as sigma says totally crazy

I guess they never watched a cat when it catches something mucn smaller than itself. Or a lion suffocating it's prey. At least when I kill something (only fish, really) I do it as quickly as possible. How mean is that?

I think its time for a big juicy t-bone, with taters, corn, salad and a big glass of milk!

MMMMM

Too bad it's 8:00 Am.....

I wonder if it would set PETA off, if I threw a big BBQ right next to their protest?

Any fellow Ford fan is welcome!
