I've mentioned this before, but I like to repeat it. PETA is very fond of attacking little old ladies walking down the street in fur coats - throwing and spraying paint all over the fur, and such. If they are truly committed to their cause, why don't they ever jump on some biker and spray paint his leathers?

They just want to see themselves on TV. Otherwise, why don't they have some bald fat guy in a cage, painted like a tiger. I think they're discriminatory. Gloria Steinem need to go slap them.

They pulled this same stunt in Portland ME. All they succeeded in doing was giving a bunch of dirty old men a free peep show.

Well, I know exactly what would happen if I rode up on my Harley and some whacko threw paint on me. I’m sure they know also know it would be far more risky and limit their attacks to picking on little old ladies. I guess they are not that committed to their cause after all.

I hate the Peta! i like animals alot though. our society is going to pot! nowadays judges give people that have abused animals a longer or worse sentence than someone who murdered a couple people. that really happened!

You should see the cartoon flyers they give to children, whom by PETA's own admission is their target audience. About a month ago they had one that depicted a housewife holding a rabbit by the ears. She had a very sadistic look on her face as she was stabbing the rabbit repeatedly with a big butcher knife. The rabbit was dressed in child like clothing and of course was screaming in agony with blood flying everywhere. The headline read : Mommy is a killer! They were giving these to small children and by many reports from parents, their child came home crying asking them if it was true.
Saw one of their reps get interviewed on Hannity and Colmes. It was a great interview, too. Both Sean and Alan were jumping down the guys throat! He said that they give the fliers to kids whose parents are wearing fur at the time. Again, I doubt very seriously that they would try such a stupid stunt with leather wearing bikers!!

That really says it all, because you have to be doing something REEEEAAAALLLYYY ridiculous before Alan Colmes thinks it's overboard. Unless you're a conservative of course!

I've seen this before! I don't mind that part. I just collect up as much of their literature as possible and help the environment be recycling their trash . . er I mean propaganda.

As far as telling children that their mommies are murderers, they should be "B-slapped!" :

Do you have a puppy you take for walks or play ball with?
Or a kitty who likes to chase string? Everyone knows that
it’s fun to love and play with our animal friends.
But how would you feel if someone took away your
kitty or puppy, stomped on their head, and ripped
their skin off their bodies?
It would make you feel sad, wouldn't
it? Why would anyone be so mean? But
there are terrible people who cause our
furry friends to die that way every day.
And guess what? One of those terrible
people is your mommy. Your mommy kills
animals! I bet you didn't know that.
Lots of wonderful foxes, raccoons, and
other animals are kept by mean farmers who
squish them into cages so small that they
can hardly move. They never get to play or
swim or have fun. All they can do is cry—
just so your greedy mommy can have that
fur coat to show off in when she walks
the streets.
In the forest, nasty men in boots catch
animals with traps that have metal claws
that snap shut on animals’ legs. Ouch! Some
animals bite off their own paws to get away!
Mommy foxes do this because they want to
get back to their babies to feed them, but
they usually die anyway and their babies
slowly starve to death, scared and all alone.
Trapped animals who don’t escape from the
traps get stomped to death by the nasty
men. Ask your mommy how many dead
animals she killed to make her fur clothes.
Then tell her that you know she paid men
to hurt and kill the animals. Everyone knows.
And the sooner she stops wearing fur, the
sooner the animals will be safe. Until then,
keep your doggie or kitty friends away from
mommy—she’s an animal killer!

One of their tactics this christmas was to give the "comic book" to children whose parents were wearing furs going into the nutcracker play, the pictures in that "comic book" are pretty rediculous

In my book they are bigtime wackos, just like the ones who burn and vandalize suv's, and burn new home developments
