I should probably start another post but I’ll ask anyway and if I should tell me. My truck almost always starts except in -20 weather. Having said that even in warm weather or when the engine is hot I have longer than normal crank times before the engines starts…is this normal on old truck or is there something I can do to correct this?

Larry it is a good idea to start a new thread because it keeps pertinent items under a new title. That helps you attract knowledge to your issues because guys that don't do clutches but are knowledgeable on cold/hot starts might read your post. Plus it helps others find solutions that have similar issues. But all that said there's no hard and fast rules here. I did read the posting guidelines. But that was years ago. The only thing I recall as prohibited was politics. I probably should read them again. I think they say the purpose of these pages is exchanging truck info.
