Been out "playing" in the snow this morning. Going to have to wait for Derek to get here with the plow before much more gets done.
Started out in a blizzard. Got that out of our system and had a two hour break. Then it moved in again with a vengeance and put on quite a show with snow, wind and more snow. Then it teased us. The clouds broke and we had blue sky (well mostly) and sunshine. Derek swung by and we took advantage of the sun to do some plowing and scraping. We had no more than finished and some very dark and very ugly clouds started rolling back in. Well, we had a Lane and a drive way for an hour or two. And, it is still snowing, I just turned on the rmote security lights at the Rec/Guest house. With a little imagination you can see through the blizzard enough to think you can see them.
Daughter with 2 grandsons had an accident this morning. Their 2015 F150 Platinum got bent but we'll have to wait and see if it gets totaled. It's going to be a close call. Thankfully no serious injuries. Bumps and bruises and sore muscles and an in the belt airbag got the11-year-old grandson & quite the rash / burn on the side of the neck and around the front under the chin. Looks almost like ligature marks from a strangulation. Dodged a bullet on that one. Could have been a lot worse
Snow build up on the deck outside the master bedroom sliding glass doors.
Sunshine and blue skies...for a couple of hours anyway.
Opened the front blinds up when the sun started shining. It took two of the cats no time at all to claim the back of the love seat in the window. The 3rd cat laid claim to the sliding glass doors in the master bedroom.
Well, it was looking good for a little bit anyway.
And just like that, after we got the barnyard, driveways and Lane out to the highway cleared off, the next front started moving in.
Started snowing about 15 minutes after this picture and is still snowing.
At least the river isn't frozen over like it was this time last year.

Weird how the wind shaped the ice cycles. That one spike is not from a hole in the roof, Its a part of the main "waterfall".
Our "southern" rabbits. Not to be confused with our "Northern" rabbits.
