Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Snow along with 20-25 mph wind with a 40 mph gust being not all that unusual, the last certainly 'rattled the cage a bit'. Snow is coming down sideways and is "blizzardy" enough to trip the motion sensors on the cameras. Still under Hazardous Winter Weather Alert and storm Warning through tomorrow night. Forecast is still showing snow until at least Friday. I don't think washing the car, camper and pickup is going to be in the cards for today.
AND, still no snow blower. Calling later this afternoon and cancelling it. Good chance this storm is the last hurrah for this year so time to shift gears to a riding lawn mower. I've had enough and I'm not going to have it sitting around the pole barn running the warranty out collecting dust. I'll wait now for clearance sales and / or next fall to order one.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 24, clear and sunny this morning. Clouds on the Horizon and snow in the forecast so we’ll see how it goes. Winter Hazard/snow warning was extended 2 days yesterday.
I think I went 10 rounds with Mohamed Ali but 5 phone calls, 1 disconnect, 3 customer service reps that were lousy at their jobs-knew nothing and tried or did give me the runaround.
Those people have no idea where the snow blower is. One of them even tried to tell me that the order had never been picked up by the shipper and was still sitting at the point of origin in New Jersey.
Anyway, I think I finally got the snow blower order cancelled. They are refunding all but the $150 price match that was supposed to have been refunded on Feb 1. They are now saying the store in Bend was supposed to call me and complete that price match refund. So I have to call the store this morning to see where that $150 is at. This is completely different from what I was told on Feb. 1. CS told me then that the $150 refund was complete and would show up as a refund on my credit card in 3 to 5 days. Which, it never did. What a nightmare Home Depot has been.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. No new snow today.....

Yes it was and I have developed som strong fellings about their ethics and all of the stories and fabrications I've been told. We'll see if the credits show back up on the credit card bill. Supposed to be there in 3 to 5 days, but so was the one from Feb.1 that never showed up.
I did call the Bend Store today and it took her about 5 minutes to look it up, run a cash register refund / credit back to the card. So, in "3 to 5" days there should be a full refund to the credit card. Card has already been paid off so I'll have to talk to them about how we are going to handle the refund from the credit card.
