Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 27 and overcast. No precip at the moment. Under 2 "red flag's" for snow and High Winds through Friday morning. They changed the snow forecast for today to rain starting this afternoon then snow later tonight continuing on through Sunday.
Our near nightly visit Animals seem to be hunkering down. A couple of elk before daylight yesterday morning, but the bobcat and coyotes near nightly visits have stopped, at least in the camera areas and I haven't seen any new tracks in the snow.

While snow and wind have definitely been the predominate features of the day we certainly had one heck of a rain and hail storm that started in the 0200-0300 and went on for 3 or more hours. Then the snow started.
