Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Have a little internet back this morning.
The pack out has begun. May be a little slower than expected. Hope to have everything loaded and on the road by noon and arriving at Bravo by 1300. The Warden did something to her left arm and it’s painful for her to move it.
Then, in addition to the boat batteries taking a dump, it appears the pickup batteries are too. Went over to the Marina to say goodbye until next visit to a couple of fellows that have worked here for over 20 years and clean fish. When we got back to the pickup, it needed a jump start. No obvious reason we could find other than those batteries are failing. Or, someone set off an EMP.
Losing the net, so better post this. Have a great day everyone.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 73° outside. Temp has come up 7 degrees in the last 30 minutes or so since I came back inside. I was thinking it was a lot hotter. Must be a humidity factor.
Made it home (Bravo) yesterday afternoon around 1630. Would have been closer to 1430, but we had a 45-minute unexpected delay at the RV Dump Station. Then I was informed that we were stopping at South Shore Pizza at the lake before we made our final departure.
Have most everything unloaded, still working on a few things. Boat, camper and pickup wash and wax will have to wait for this weekend or next week.
Have to make a couple of calls now. One is to the IRS and that is going to be sooooo exciting.
Good afternoon Ford Drivers.
Since I forgot to grab my lunch before leaving the lumber yard with deliveries, it's lunch break in the lumber yard again.
Morning all. Yay for friday #1. Good news is my crew and I have an offsite meeting at the end of the day... meaning I'm buying beer for the crew.
Bad news, neighbor had someone come out and fall all of the dead trees on his place. I volunteered to clean up the mess for the firewood and to help him save some money since they are in their 80's. Hoping I can get most of it done in less than a day.
