With a strike upon us ....

And talk of temp workers......

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8jhUswM/

Even though I'm not in a union employee, I fully support UAW. I have Four trucks that went into production last week, hell they might be in the assembly line when the strike goes off at midnight. So be it.

Like it or not your life, You're comfortable life his brought to you by Union workers.

I'm willing to bet power that's in your phone stored in your battery or your laptop, computer or whatnot, that energy was brought to you by a union company.

The light that powers your house, the gas or diesel It's in your vehicle was brought to you by a worthless union employees.

Hell you might have been even educated by a worthless union teacher.

I could go on.

But those are okay, right?
No. Unions are not necessary. Totally against Capitalism and should not have control over anyones company.

I respect the reason why 60 years ago, but a complete evil organization now.

YMMV.

Tesla is a non-union company, perhaps you should buy the new electric truck then?

Your truck was Union made. You say you have many of them. Why do you continue purchase them?

You claim to have a 2016 that you've had zero issues with but yet you will not support the workers who build them?

Regardless of your opinion, your actions says otherwise. Like it or not, you have supported them in the past, are you saying you'll never buy a union product again because that's what I am inferring with that statement.

You currently have any skin in the game?

Skin in the game? Unions support the wrong political platform and vice versa.
a company should pay based on individual performance, not strong armed wages. We all pay for the worthless workers in the end with socialized employment. And, In the end though, it’s the customers and ultimately shareholders that have to “ok” the deal.

I am not in the market for a new one but have 2 newer ones so I dont care, the stike would probably raise their value. I have a Japanese built vehicle on order at the moment.

But…. The longshoreman strike is what initially set off the supply chain issues and ensuing crazy inflation cancer we are dealing with.

Pro Union or not, they can have some devastating effects.

Just for the record, I truly don't ever expect you to answer a question directly, That's not what you do.

So I can assume I made in the USA, so now I have to ask myself what is made in the USA.

Tax
Inflation
Political corruption
Pollution
Concrete
Asphalt
Some foods
But wait, some of those products are made by non-americans, is that okay?

What is made in America?

more like assembled in American with parts made from around the globe.

I work for a union company and I have worked for non union companies. I found that there are good and bad from both sides in reference to Union / Nonunion with production and quality of work.
It basically depends on work ethic of the individual. We have employee's who take pride in work and understand their work and production effect the heath of the company and others who do just enough for a check and basically is all they want.
Pros and cons to both forms of workers IMO

It isn't the idea of unionization that I oppose. It's just that, nobody wants to try to operate an organization while your employees are operating a different organization. Also, when unions centralize under the management of a few people, and those people get political favors, they can become more like a church. When someone asks, well why do you keep buying from ... the answer is, obviously, unions work hard, cashing in those political favors, to make sure you have no other choice. This gives the union greater leverage. So this question is a little questionable. I think everyone respects workers and their right to organize, given that's all it is, customers don't really benefit from underhanded strong arm tactics.
