Make sure it is a good one. I put in a large AC/ heat window unit in mine last summer. Wont keep up. But then again I have no insulation. Just framing and sheetmetal. ~1300sq ft, wide open inside. Thinking about selling it to get something a little more powerful and insulate. It is rated for 1000sq ft but probably expect that to be for a house.

Yes very good point, good thing I have a son in law that has his own HVAC business. Lol So I can get the hook up on a 110V mini split, at a low initial cost and even get him to install it. I have my main shop enclosed part insulated, so I am really thinking about it. I just got a good propane heater (hang from the ceiling) unit, a couple of years ago, so no more cold shop.

Morning all, seems to be a bit cooler for a few days. And I'm only talking 5° to 10° but beggars can't be choosers. Mowed until dark yesterday. I didn't realize it'd been over a week, before OMR, since I mowed the immediate house lawn.
The 56 won't start and it's not gas. it's got current thru the coil but when I went to hook up my remote starter switch; I can't find it. So I'll go on the hunt today before I continue mowing.

Was gonna ask about the August thread. Then noticed THIS IS the August thread.

Alright guys, can someone explain why my truck drives better after a battery disconnect? I changed out my alternator yesterday, changed the belt, and some other maintenance items so I had the batteries disconnected for about 4 hours.

This is the 3rd or 4th time since my ownership that I've disconnected the batteries long enough ti reset the PCM and my truck drives like a BEAST. It shifts better, has more *** at a stop light, all around better. What's the deal?

Just got home from town. I know this story is as old as Methuselah, but we went for milk and bread. Filled the back of an SUV with $300 worth of groceries.

The PCM learns your driving habits over time and adjusts for it. When the PCM resets you start off fresh.

I bet it has a problem of some sort and is fine/gets cleared once you do the disconnect. Because you clear the codes. Then what ever the issue is, it comes back and causes the issue again and it throws codes and drive like dodo or some such other. Are you checking or getting any codes/check eng lights, before the battery disconnect?

Maybe take it to O'Reilly's or Auto zone/what ever you have local auto parts place wise and have them code read it for free with their high dollar code reader. Worth a try.

Dang it is hot out, I did a little outside work, moving some 37" tires around and a battery or 2 and dang it is hot hot.
