Interesting. This is my dads opinion as well.

Are you checking or getting any codes/check eng lights, before the battery disconnect?
Maybe take it to O'Reilly's or Auto zone/what ever you have local auto parts place wise and have them code read it for free with their high dollar code reader. Worth a try.
Dang it is hot out, I did a little outside work, moving some 37" tires around and a battery or 2 and dang it is hot hot.
No lights on the dash, never checked for codes. Ill drive for a while and bring it in to O'Reilly
Don't forget you just got the charging system back up to snuff. Low voltage can cause all sorts of driveabilty issues the computer won't pick up on as a problem.
Well good evening and happy belated birthdays!
Spent 5 days at pomme de terre, mostly IN the lake. 2 high wind/straight line storms. 1 we beat in, 1 we got caught in. o well. My Kawasaki mule I was so pleased i had running great...till it didn't. Won't idle after it warms up. Have a few more things/adustments/cheap sensors to replace before I have to take to the dealer. Sad thing is I don't know of any I'd trust to do fuel injection/diagnostic work! No ford time for couple weeks, as I leave again Thursday for almost 2 weeks. Well stay cool!
Morning all. Woke up to scary looking skies. It's that odd color where you know a storm is coming. Looks like we got a little rain last night and are supposed to this morning.
I sure would love an opportunity to go for a run in the rain. Too many meetings today to make that happen this morning.
Gwen has had the urge for Beef Pasta recently. The first time we didn't have any hamburger. Last night I had to bring my pc home to finish some work. We had problems that we were working on all day. The meetings with our vendor and our executives should be interesting, gotta set that up today. But, I digress. Gwen cooked the beef pasta and was about to start without me. Then she saw the bread. Nice and moldy on the bottom. So off to the store she ran and by the time she got back I was done with work and we could eat together.
Morning all! Harrier send some of that this way would ya? I was hoping for round 2 of rain last night but nuttin. Other than that. I will keep wishing.
Been playing shuffle board with trailers and car this morning. Movers ahoukd be here this AM with the MIL stuff. So will be taking them to the storage unit. Good thing I like my MIL.. She may be here awhile. But after 10 days, the wife returns with mom, a large rat she calls her dog and all her stuff. The pup and I are gonna hit the lake one more time since I took the day off. Well, try at least. He is a twitchy one.. like a crack dealer in a police station.
Also found out our lab pup is a great Mole tracker. Wont hurt em, but loves making them squeak when he bumps them with his nose. So relocated a trap and now we wait. Little buggers are quick.
Well stay cool everyone! Supposed to be a bad scorcher today
good mornin August!
Rich that would be great. Be sure to tell them its a Kawasaki 4010 trans mule with electronic fuel injection....I think therein somewhere lies the problem. Just cloudy here in the city Waiting for someone to pick up a POS wife posted on marketplace.

Absolutely correct. Older vehicles would have you reset the keep alive memory on the scan tool after many repairs. On more recent ones they’ll call for resetting the KAM and then performing specific tasks on a test drive to reset the adaptive learn strategies after most transmission repairs.
Id say it’s a sign you’re not driving it hard enough if it runs better after disconnecting it he battery overnight. Time to channel your inner Mario Andretti! 😄

I’ve got a big yellow tomcat that takes care of my mole problems for me. They were really digging up the backyard earlier this year. Then I found one dead on the front porch and a few weeks later he was packing one around that he left on the back patio.
He likes to leave dead mice as trophies next the garage door as well. I was not too enthused when the kids wanted to bring home a cat but I gotta say this one has really earned its keep.
No rain here yet. Rich, I've read that post. He's primaily talkin about a 3 cylinder diesel, mine is twin cyl gasoline. But he makes some good points. I've done about 1/2 of his points, and will do more next time around. Still have about 7 more tactics before surrendering!
It's been a heck of a few days. I didn't cut the grass on Sunday because I was still exhausted and needed to finish the jack. (which I did) So I planned to cut the grass on Monday. Well, we got clobbered by that storm. The two biggest branches were about 10" in diameter and about 20 feet long and landed inches from the house. It took ALL. DAY. LONG. to clear the 8-10 truck loads of brush and branches out of the yard. I was spent by the end of the day. I still have to hire a tree company to take down 5 limbs that broke, but didn't fall to the ground. They're about 20' up, so it's nothing I want to mess with. Then today I woke up ready to mow, .....and it was raining. I'm gonna need a brush hog if I have to wait much longer.
