Chalk test was done with tires at 50 psi. That's what the door said was factory specs for the front tires. So that's what I figured I'd start with. Chalk test came back good. Both tires seem to be wearing evenly. Her bath came out looking nice as well. Here are before and after videos of that as well.
Well tomorrow before heat index is 95 for the high. Pretty much all next week is borderline triple digits or into triple digits before heat index. The heat index today I think someone told me was 118 degrees. It may have been 112. Either way it's ridiculous. You can't work all day out here without taking a break or you will have a heat stroke. I don't know what I hate more, blistering hot or single digit cold. They both kind of suck. Feels good in the house though minus the electricity bill. That probably doesn't feel good...
I'm told it's supposed to be around 120° after heat index tomorrow. It is miserable. I need to move to Georgia full-time or something!
On that note, my AC hasn't been doing as good in the middle of the day as it has been. I think it may be a little low on freon. What should the low and high side pressures be with the AC on and the truck idling?
Tristan you need more air in those front tires to keep the m/t shoulder from wearing/feathering on the outside.
Run 65 psi in them up front awhile and see how they do. I ran those same tires in a 34" flavor on a 2017 f150 and had to run 45-50 to keep the front shoulder from wearing too much between rotations, and we are talking alot more weight here. You got to remember chalk test doesn't account for turning going down the road. I would start there and keep an eye on things. my 3 cents(inflation)

Ford was also the company that specified that Explorers should run the tires FLAT....and then blamed Firestone for blow-outs. Yes, 26 PSI is flat on a heavy vehicle with passenger car tires. Just like a 12V lead acid battery is technically dead at 12.2V.
The MINIMUM inflation for front tires on these trucks should be no less than 65....EVER. Sure, the rears can run much less if there is no load, but the front axles of these trucks carries a ton (or 2.5) of weight and the more air the better (so long as the maximum inflation pressure is not exceeded). Sidewall flex/bulge is your enemy ; couple that with 90+ degree weather and it's "shake hands with danger" time.

I will add some air before I leave work. I was just going off what the sticker on the door said. Thanks!
that was a good one! Inflation is getting bad man!

Gotcha. I will air up before I leave work. Thank you for the info. It is stupid hot today. I'm trying not to do much of anything in the heat. Trying to work in the shade!
