Good Morning Everybody!
We finally got Tiff's new car registered. Ouch! That put a dent in the ole' wallet. ...but it's done now. A few weeks ago I pruned all the trees as high up as I could reach from a ladder to get all the dead limbs down, so I wouldn't have as many sticks in the yard after a storm. I STILL spent three hours picking up sticks yesterday so I could mow. Sheesh.

RC how are you doing down by the creek?
Alan yes a new car is always nice until it's tag and sales tax time.

Anybody got an in with a vehicle transport company. I did something stupid and bought a 56 Panel in Idaho!
Didn't realize it's 22 hours one way. It's actually a Panel that's been converted into a trailer and it's towable. But not knowing it's history there's a lot that could go wrong towing something that far.

Not up to a Roadkill trip? Assuming it has the '54 drive axle under it, I'd check the lube level, slap some new rubber on it, and go for it. What could go wrong?
Sister's ride to an important drs appointment bailed out on her so I'm burning some stashed holiday leave to get her there today.

I know a guy with a truck and trailer that is big enough to haul a certain monster truck in it..... Maybe he is for higher and you can ride along. THAT would be a fun road trip.
Rich. I don't really have the time, but the hauler would definitely make the trip enjoyable. It would be $1,000 just for fuel to go that far, though. The cheapest route would be to fly out there and rent a U-haul (pick up truck) to bring it back.
good afternoon ya'll.... finally was able to put a few hours in on "johnn's" red f250.. .. i have one side with new brakes, hubs and axles.. tomorrow i hope to have the other side done so it will be ready to go.. the shocks gave me a fit for awhile.. but a BIGGER hammer solved the problem.. ha ha ha ha .. who says a 1967 Dana 60 differential wont fit in a 85 that had a dana 61... even did it without cutting and welding on the parts so they can still be used in the original truck.. who knows i might want to put that 67 f250 back together someday....
... ha ha ha ha ...YEP.. just what i need IS another project..

Well I got more new job computer stuff done. And then I used the Bronco to push the silver turck (while Penny steered) back under the car port until I have time to fix it. I feel that with this new job I am not going to have very much "free time" on my hands for a while.
So how about some troubleshooting help on this issue. Bronco has power brakes, been fine for years. Very recently I noticed that the power brakes are not so much "power" anymore and I have a VERY stiff pedal. Brake fluid level good, lines look good, line from booster to carb good. I have a R/R wheel cylinder with a slight leak.
So today when I started it and after the elec choke shut off and it idled back down. Then when I pushed on the brake pedal to shift it into gear, the idle speed kicked up. So when I let off, the idle went back down. Power brake booster vacuum line is attached to the back of the carb.
Power brake booster shot? Opinions?

Grass is cut and the location for the video is scouted and permission is granted to use it. We have a display this weekend with EQ, then the video shoot on Tuesday. I STILL have to get on these bumpers. There's just not enough hours in the day, it seems like. ...or not enough motivation in my broke old butt. ....one or the other.
