I went to see the dealership today to get a status update on my truck and see if they would shed any light on why my build week keeps getting moved back (it has been moved six times already). Nothing but a song and dance for that question but I did manage to finally get a VVR that shows some interesting (odd) stuff. See my post #3548 in the 2022 Ford Super Duty Order Tracking Thread about how the conversation went to just get the VVR.
What I discovered is there are three entries missing from my VVR. I received an email on 9/2/21, 9/12/21 and 9/14/21 from Ford that each changed my scheduled WEEK to 10/4/21, 10/18/21 and 10/11/21 respectively. Also, the first occurrence of being scheduled to a DAY that occurred on Sept 24 was actually after my WEEK had moved 3 times. After that each WEEK move seems to be accompanied by a corresponding DAY move as well.
My impression up to this point had been, and I even mentioned it to the ordering manager to which he agreed, that if I had a scheduled to DAY then my production date was pretty much a lock. Now I see from my VVR that definitely is NOT the case and the scheduled DAY is moved around just as much as the scheduled WEEK.
I feel your pain lariat driver, but in all fairness my 2021 ordered on 2/9 still hasn’t been delivered to me yet…so I understand the frustration. Ordered a 2022 on 8/6 (accepted 8/21) but no VIN or production date yet. Maybe it’s my dealer that Ford hates???
Ok. Ive lurked in the shadows too long. Ill be adding my truck to the spread sheet. Maybe someone has an idea of whats going on. My order was sent to the plant 9/29 (F350 SRW long bed Lariat) . ONE DAY after my father in laws was sent (F250 SRW long bed lariat). His truck was in production and built 10/8 shipped 10/10. My truck went into production 10/11 and theres been no movement since. It does say that my ETA is 11/9 but still shows in production........Any ideas?
For those who recently ordered, or for those still waiting after several months with no end in sight, what happens when the model year changes over and customers are still waiting for their previous model year orders? That appears to be very much a possibility. When does the plant change over to new model year production? I think order banks open up around March right? I’m prepared to wait for the adaptive steering, but what if that wait exceeds the 2022 model year production? Do I get a 2023? Is my price still protected? Do I have to reorder? Can anyone who never received, or are still waiting, for a 2021 shed some light on this?
I realized this may be better suited for the Unscheduled List Thread. Moderators, feel free to move.

My truck went into production on 8/11 also. It briefly showed as built on Ford's tracker (I did get a built email), but shortly after, the truck showed as in production again on Ford's website. About a half day later, it showed as shipped.

I am hoping its just a system error. My sales chick has no idea whats going on even though shes said shes been selling trucks for years. He last response to my question about time in production was "I'd rather it be built right, than be built quick".
My truck is “in processing” now and on the spreadsheet. I noticed a lot of “in processing” trucks on the list. Some have been on the list without update for a long time. Do they seem to be honoring the build date provided in the email? Or are lots of trucks being pushed back?
All I can say is “Great News” for those getting their Trucks in 2/3 months from date of order. I’m just hoping I get some type of news/email from Ford by the end of next month. It will be about 14 weeks from order at that time. A Santa Claus delivery would be ideal for me but I won’t hold my breath. I do hope I take delivery before Feb 2022.
my dealer says itll be here by nov 15 but ive never recieved an email or anything from ford and i even called ford and got my vin, I would think it would show up as scheduled atleast by now

Since you have a VIN, it has been scheduled. Ask your dealer for your Build Week.
Mine has been in production since 10/9. I’m assuming that it’s the spray in bed liner and tonneau holding up production. It hasn’t ever been listed as built.
Bob
Bob, you and I are in the same boat. Pretty sure it's the bedliner at this point. I installed the FordPass app and the button to "Activate Vehicle" is there and pressable so I assume the truck has indeed been built and it's just waiting on one last thing. I find it awfully hard to believe that it'll be to the dealer by 11/3 though.

I agree. I’m sure it is built as I was able to download the “as built” module information.
I’m sure that it’s going to be late. The Ford Mach-E is telling me the 2nd.
