Hey @brokestroke , how's the compound coming along?
Its going.
Question about the vacuum canister mounted on the passenger side under the hood. Does the canister run the heat functions as well as the vacuum assist hubs?

Yup. It does. That should be easily relocated with a bit longer vacuum line though.

Yes it does, how do I know, mine got ripped out along with liner wile backing up plowing and front mud flap caught tire. Now only defrost.... Guess I will reinstall when or if I get time.

OUCH.
Unplug your vac pump so it doesn’t burn up running all the time.
Hey guys, getting back to working on this truck again. Just pulled it into the shop and have it defrosting.
First things first. The damn fuel bowl drain valve on this truck leaks like an SOB. I have replaced it 3 times in 4 years. Each time it is fine for a while and it will start back up leaking. Obviously I could have tried swapping the o-rings but for ease I just replaced it each time with a Dorman. Well this time it was only good for about a month and it started leaking again. Are the "after market" fluorosilicone o-rings that great compared to stock? This valve was leaking bad so I put a piece of hose with a plug in it on the drain spout and hose clamped it. Now its leaking under the yellow tab and the whole valve is oily.

How's the compounds processing ..?
Good deal, going to order a couple sets of o-rings.
Have a list of things to fix on the truck right now. The front blower motor isnt work and it is terrible in this cold weather with rear heat only.
Luckily the super cold weather has missed Michigan for the most part thanks to Lake Michigan. Although it is -1 F this morning. The truck has atleast 1 bad glow plug and it shows. The GPCM throws a CEL and it smokes, stalls and lopes pretty hard in the morning (never plugged in). Got it in the barn warming up for the following.
Drain Valve fix
Heater fix
Replace glow plug(s)
Replace up-pipes
Install 1.0ar with larger WG
