I got one. And this is the luxury of being a part of this crew. Dudes what do ya'll think of this?

SLI65XM
$150
I need 2 for my 6.2

I know the gel batteries, but I'll pay $500 for a shot gun but not batteries. Can I get by with this? It says maintenance free.
Mine are fine, no issues, I must be the only one however im going to replace the stockers anyway

What say the hive?

They sell them at Sams Club for a good price. I had one in my F150, lasted 2 years and was replaced under warranty. But I’m in FL heat is brutal on batteries here.

I was thinking up a plan for adding forced air to the trommel. Leaves go in one end of the trommel and come out the other end mostly intact. They don't fall through the screen. If I hooked up a blower (Whipple?) I could force the leaves out without falling into the bucket of rocks. Or maybe blow them back up the cylinder where they could be crushed again by more rocks. The forced air might also blow dust off the rocks, reducing the need for a water bath. I really don't want to add water to the system. That would just make a lot of mud in the dirt catch basin. Water around an electric motor doesn't sound like a good idea.

I made it. 15:10 to drive a little over 1600km. Surprisingly, the hip that went out feels good after that drive. I had a towel under it to prop it into position. Back is sore..... really sore...... tomorrow morning will be interesting. I think I’m going to post the trip adventure in tech tomorrow........ regens and all...... stay tuned.

Damn Bow tie, when I was 24 i was working 84hrs per week. At 26, I was constantly over over 300hrs per month. A bad month was 200hrs. Cry babies.

I feel greasy (greasy stick man opening for Matt) I need to shower and clean up. More on the greasy stuff tomorrow in tech. 👍

We will get through this and find some new guys but it will be a beyotch for a few weeks until we can get them trained. Such is life in the big city. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I agree w/ Skags. It's really quiet today.
When I was 24 I bought my first Pete. Average work week was 60 to 70 hours because that's what you could legally log. 70 hours in 8 days. Multiple log books... and off days were for maintenance. We used to say it wasn't a job... it was a way of life.. sometimes takin a woman on a date meant taking them for a ride. I once took this woman for a ride to Chicago. I had a return load set up so I could get her back in time for work on Monday. Load was cancelled and I ended up having to take her to Ohare and fly her home....
I see you men have been having fun....
Had some time out in Barnegat inlet... mostly just working and falling asleep....no leisure time on the bike but a few days riding to work...
Had to stop in and say hey!
Later...
