It's getting to be a daily part of life and the news cycle is moving on to juicer stories and it looks like the cure for covid is close contact riots or we may see that isn't the case in 14 days.
Out here in Saskatchewan, you see a few people wearing masks but it’s almost like life is back to normal. The only exception is people stand further apart than normal. It’s hard to tell there were even restrictions in place. Anything stand out in PEI?
Teddy I'll join in for a bit imagine that. TN cases 821 today. 14 deaths today.
Not even a blip on the radar. People are over it. Live, die, who gives a s‐--
Really, everywhere I go maybe one mask out of 50. (Me)
I'm not going to lie to my wife....she asks "wear your mask in to get Skoal?" Yes babe I did
Side note......rainwater into cab thread. Catch the user name did ya?

Not really much difference other than the distancing. Most businesses have reopened but I only go to the grocery store, drug store, liquor store and plumbing supply stores which is about 99% of what I did before this crap started. It's rare to see anyone wearing a mask although I do have one but haven't been in anywhere that I had to wear it. I do wear latex gloves on service and installs but I wore them before too. I was working in a long term care facility yesterday and they were setting up a tent so that one resident can have one visitor for 30 minutes starting Friday. I'm not fond of the government allowing seasonal property owners in now. Over 700 applications so far and they will have rules to follow but it only takes one person as we have seen in NB to get it all started again. We took a hit with the first shutdown although we are considered essential and kept working it was quiet for a few weeks. Right now I'd say we are back to normal but another lockdown will be tough.
I dont smoke, havent for 20 years, but was surprised to see cigarettes in a casino vending machine for $12/pack. Im sure thats a couple bucks higher than elsewhere but still.

Sask had around 350 cases. Then two camp workers up north brought it in to a remote community. That doubled the provincial numbers within 2 weeks. All the new cases were up north. All it takes is one is right.

$17/pack here on the normal average. With conversion, about the same as the casino.

For sure! That's what is keeping me on edge plus my wife has a few health issues and both parents are 80+.

I quit smoking about a year before my son was born, so it's been about 28 years. A carton was about $20 back then. My wife used to be on my azz all the time about how expensive and nasty the habit was. Now it seems like the ones that smoke are the ones that can least afford it. I guess in a roundabout way we are probably buying their cigs for them. My son, nephew, and another of my employees dip. That's nasty shyt right there. My son has his spit cup on his desk in plain view. Disgusting.

I was supposed to head out to Caissie Cape NB this summer to visit friends for a week or two. With this Covid crap, I’m not even considering it now. Maybe next year.

I'm going to swing by my cousin's house in North Dakota this fall. Y'all keep that crap north of the border, please.
