With theses rioters and looters, is any of this happening in open carry states? I don’t know which states are open carry (Texas and Arizona) and I’m always surprised that shop owners aren’t standing in their store with the whole nine yards ready. What is the deal here? I thought lethal force was allowed under self defence to protect property in the states. I could be wrong. School me on this please.
Here you go Teddy wish we
could pass it around boys. About 105 proof but she smooth
I need to get me some of that.. I know a guy. He was going to give me a jar back around Thanksgiving but I ended up missing him. Hafta give him a call and check it out.
Smoother than say Tito's? Jamo? how does it compare to commercial booze?
It went through chief. Watching them pull rioters out of Macey now. Principle im against. Can't say I'm too tore up over Macy's.
Not saying you are either. I understand what you are saying. I'm just glad my area has too many rednecks including me to get in a riot over this....plus that everyone has guns, lots of them.
we really don't want to shoot each other.
Bust up Jim Bob's Fuel Stop at 2am, Jim Bob shows up and shoots your ***

They had some problems in AZ and TX, not a whole lot of footage, so maybe not as bad. I'm actually confused right now by the lack of force being used by citizens and police in response to the thugs. So far it seems like those who do push back against the rioters, are the ones who get charged. If you are in a car surrounded by a destructive mob of people who are destroying your property and a threat to you, you should be able to drive away regardless if they are on, in front or under your vehicle. Instead you will be charged and likely thrown in jail. Its all backwards right now.
There have been riots in the past where business owner did protect their stores with firearms in hand. Im not seeing any of that now. The police aren't even doing much.

Actually it started in Minneapolis...Minnesota is a CC permit state. which also allows for open carry with permit.
I assume some of this has taken place in Portland because that's where the Antifa have been practicing... and Oregon is a carry state.
But… The rioting is in the cities.... where the predominant political persuasion leans left. Very left in Portland. While the eastern part of the state is more conservative. The Oragon Rancher stand off comes to mind. These are Ranchers and workers in the lumber and mineral industries. Hard working traditional American individualists. The cities are full of intellectuals and artists... and hippies that moved there in the past few years to be among like minded people.
I saw video of Houston's Police Chief. Ranting that the rioters were his people and they were here to stay... That they built this country and if anyone didn't like it they better get used to it... So that's fun... didn't see rioting but even in a state most people see as perhaps the most conservative... The cities have been run by the left for a long time.
I did see some riot footage from San Antonio... Don't know if stores were looted. But theres been a thread or two in here about truck thefts in San Antonio....
Its hard to loot a store when 2 or 3 owners are in there with shot guns.
As far as right to carry I don't think having a 9mm in your belt would be worth jack in the midst of a riot. My comment about right to carry was more about turning this BS against the left. Because the supporters of this sort of "protest" are also supporters of extreme gun control. It just feel like justice to me for this to be turned completely around on them.
The only way to remain safe in the case of these riots is to not be there in the first place. You couldn't carry enough ammo anyway and youll end up dead or in jail for life.
Far as Im concerned they can have the cities anyway.
But a couple of experienced shooters with a calm demeanor can effectively protect a building. Or a homeowner can protect his house with reasonable success. But the way this has been developing they might just set you on fire...
I live far enough out that I don't have actual fear of risk at this time... But again... My folks are too close. When I go to the Home Depot near them I get mean mugged by... individuals... who probably see me as a red neck... they don't like my ghost flagged U.S. hat... or some of my tattoos that may portray conservatism to them... I would never wear a Trump hat into that store unless I was really looking to start a riot and had a contingent of big dudes with me...
Right to carry will never come to NJ... even though I believe its my right and duty of course to protect my family... NJ is a powder keg for so many reasons. Lots of cities. Much road rage on the highways... It might calm a lot of this behavior down... or become a poster child for gun control... So Ill wait till I retire out of here... soon...

Yes.. I think it was LA where they blocked the highway and were beating peoples cars with crow bars... Im sorry... I wont even remember what happened... But there would be a horrible mess if that happened to me. I was so outraged watching that... I could feel my foot on the accelerator... Im sure youll go to jail after that though...
Although... If a crow bar isn't assault with a deadly weapon I don't know what is...
By the way how are you supposed to think youll protect yourself alone when 40 or so Secret Service guys were injured in DC last night???
But as far as using excessive force... how can one not feel afraid for their life while being attacked by a mob?

Teddy its simple in my area Tricities TN. pro gun, open carry with permit. Gun in car no permit needed, as long as you're not a fellon
Bust up store, store owner shoots you. Store owner has no gun,, neighbor store owner will shoot you..
Mall......rob store in mall.. wave gun around, shopper dude will shoot you..
Neighbor house robbed, neighbor has no gun but calls other neighbor who has gun to get here before cops and shoot robber dude..
Funny Scag… that you should say that about Macys.... HAHAHA.. I was actually going to say something like they don't have anything for me anyway... But I think it goes without saying.. The entire city...all of them.. have nothing for me...
Right now I am enjoying seeing the arrests... and going to bed... 8am blood draw tomorrow... Cant wait to see what my cholesterol is after 3 months of no gym... drinking beer and hanging around...
