yep. Not much to pick from off the lot up here either.
Thats the truth. My backyard of the condo in the city overlooks the biggest ford dealer in Saskatchewan. They have 6 2020s 250/350s. All diesel and the highest trim is a lariat. Very slim pickings around here.

They still have the Lariat I took out. 7.3 with the sport package but overkill for me. They have a couple diesel XLT's but I'm not in that market either. The XLT I ordered was pretty plain and the only options I ticked off were snowplow/camper pkg, wheel well liners, mud flaps, fog lights and A/T tires. On another note, I'm going to have a look at a Kubota tomorrow. Bouncing around the yard on a 16hp John Deere with a 42" deck is getting old.

in my air conditioned cab I did look at a New Holland yesterday but it was smaller then what I need. The salesman did have a line on a Kubota with 9 hours on it but wasn't sure what the guy was going to do. He bought it and quickly found out it wasn't big enough. I think I would off looked into that before buying.

I've learned this lesson the hard way. Buy what you need 5 years from now.......am I going to have more land? do I need those attachments in the future? Do I need 4WD?
What I mean is if you have the budget......BUY IT NOW.
3 years from now......kitchen remodel, add on to the house, new car, anything can drain funds from equipment purchase.
And if you think.......damn that's way too big for what I need....then you're thinking right to buy it

The three items after the tractor are cab, loader and mower which will be in this round. A blower, pallet forks and tiller are on the wish list but not as important right now. I'll see what they have on hand in the morning.
Skags, I need to dial in my 10mm. What kind of range you got there?
Guys in Indiana keep on giving me excuses as to why my saw that I paid half down the first week of March isn't ready. It's an automatic cut-off saw that'll cut multiple PVC profiles at once, all the same length, all squared ends, and best of all, no human limbs anywhere near the blade. We've been using a big industrial sized radial arm saw and while it works, it does pose the potential for disaster. Originally I was told 6 weeks. Been about 12 now and still not ready. Said the Covid held up parts, which is probably true, but we need it badly. I've spent a lot of money with them over the last 4 years so hopefully they'll get it done soon. They can ship it to me but I prefer to go get it. That way they can give me little tutorial and I know it gets loaded right, tied down right, and doesn't get transferred. I bought another saw at the same show in March. This one is for cutting metal, round pipe up to 4" diameter in our case. It shipped from California and a couple of the roller tables had scars on them from fork lift assault. I thought about going and getting that one but we are too busy for me to go on a cross country excursion. Bought the acre next door and finally got the contractor(s) lined up to stabilize the yard so we can move some materials over there and gain some space for storage. Grade, compact, add 6" of road base, vibratory compact, 2" of asphalt millings, compact again. That's about 25k sq ft of the acre. They are going to bring in some top soil and finish grading and we'll put some grass seed down. That's about $20k total for that project. Then we will have to put up the fence, which we will provide That may last us a couple of years. By then I hope to be on the way out and my kids will have to decide if they need more warehouse space or whatever. I'll be collecting the rent from them. Still haven't heard anything about the Chevy. The fact it was still running is encouraging, but I still expect a healthy bill. I didn't get home from work until about 9PM last night. Made my last delivery at 6PM and had a 100 mile drive back to the shop to drop the trailer. Pulled the 40' gooseneck for the first time with the new truck. There's a noticeable difference in it and my '18. My '18 pulled it really good but this was at another level. Ordinarily I would pull this trailer with the 550 but it was taking place of the disabled Chevy. Business is great, we are blessed, FTE is rocking, and the weekend is upon us. Have a great one everybody.
Gallows asked if the thread was dead and then bang, the guys revived it. 👍
Had to run out to the lake last night. Mowed the grass (Push mower lol) and made sure everything was hunkered down so the 80km+ wind today didn’t destroy anything. Got back pretty late last night because I didn’t feel like staying the night to drive directly into the wind in the morning. I’m sure a few semis will be hitting the ditch today. No wind at midnight, 80km at 4 am. We are finally getting rain so
maybe my lawns will green up. Its a rain weekend so look out FTE.
