I have an iPad air2 that I only use if I want to be out where I don't want to deal with the tiny phone text
if I am going to be doing things. I don't like to update and should not of. Now I am having battery issues
do to the IOS update. I wished Apple would just quit with the no rollback crap.
So I will be heading to the local computer parts store to pick up a power supply for the old
system so I can access the files I need to build the PDFs.
Ok had some time today to clean the pcm connections. Took apart the zip tied connection. It had a ton of old orange silicone looking stuff in it. Seems that's the body connection if I base it on the posted diagram and put on its side.
Did you see any corrosion under all that orange RTV?
If it was the acetic acid cure type that will make a nasty mess of things.
No it looked good on the female plugs...didnt get a good look at the pcm male part tho. I soaked them pretty good and kept them set. Didnt get a chance to do anything today tho.
Well....I have a signal finally!!!...wouldn't start but did crank. Changing the oil as it was filthy, added archoil ...getting fresh charge on batteries I was an idiot and left key on
Have a battery tender you guys with dual batteries would suggest? I'm looking at the noco gen2 mini 2b 8amp but some of the reviews are saying they fry batteries...but those seem to be boat guys..
Wel...still havent gotten it to start. All charged up. But I'm still battling that middle plug. I cant get it to set down in. The top one that was ziptied...I have latched in without zip ties and its solid but that middle one is being a PITA. While having the batteries down I also changed the positive post on the frame. It was also a PITA rusted POS. So I know I have full connections for sure.
While cranking I finally registered oil pressure on the dash woohoo!. Must be close to getting the rails filled. I need fresh fuel. Anyway without taking the tank off/ having a $100 tool
.. to drain it?
Had a piston frozen on driver side caliper...changed it out got one at advanced for $35! Did have to trim the tensioner tho
Siphoned most of the diesel out...added 10 gal fresh. Purged the water a couple times and its clearing up ...
Now how long should it take to fill the oil rails? I've been cranking here and there for a few hours and had it charging and its definitely trying to start. Just not getting it to fully go. No engine codes other than the p0100 or whatever but it needs ran for that. Here are the numbers after cranking
Before you add that to the path of repair on this vehicle, I’d recheck those pipes and plugs this thread started with using air pressure to see they didn’t go wonky on install. Also check around the nipple seals.
Well I took the Chinese ipr I used out. Replaced with an oem I removed and updated the screen and orings. The ipr connector would rock so maybe that was the problem.
I never did an air test. I do have the ipr fitting to do it just dont know how to do it. Does forscan activate the icp?
