Chris, the backs stay fastened to the back wall.
The bottoms flip up, leaving the floor.
The jack and jack handle are on the passenger side, which takes up some real estate.
There is a kit to make the backs flip down like the earlier trucks, I did it to our 06, and the 19.
Nice rig Jim. The KR would be my choice if I could afford one. Haha. You'll like hauling the camper with the dually way better and you'll wonder why you waited so long. That would also be the color I would of got also. You have good taste.
Long day today getting ready to head to the SW desert in the morning. Should be a good road trip. Weather looks good too.
Good evening everyone. Mason and Owen are camping at the coast with my parents, so Jackie, Gavin, and I went out to a nice dinner. Picked up something else to have this evening, too.

Funny thing happened. Both of us started out on a sunny afternoon drive and sight seeing trip. We ended up getting home in two separate vehicles.....

Good evening Oregon friends,
Evan, You have good looking family and it looks like with your after dinner spirits you probably had a good time!
Todd, Nice truck and welcome to the forum!
Jim, Nice truck, that should handle your camper just fine!
Maria and I just got back from a trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for the One Page G2G. It was a good time, the truck and camper did real well!
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from the ranch. Took some fish out to mother, sister and BIL.

Eh, you're one of those rich gooberment men. You can afford it. Now, whether or not you can survive the wrath of the wife, that is another story.
I've looked at a lot of them over the last few months that I couldn't afford. We really lucked into this one - I expended my last 4 leaf clover.
I really had discounted the King Ranch as a pipe dream some time ago. First, most were outside the budget range, some used ones were laughably so. A couple that were really too expensive for us, but close enough to the range we had set to be dangerous, were 6.75' boxes so that solved the problem for us. I can't really comprehend having a pickup with a short box. Nothing but an overgrown modern Ranchero, but Wow! It seems like 9 our of 10 pickups we would find were short boxes.
But when we found this one, it was several thousand cheaper than comparable F350 XLT's and Lariats we had been looking at of the same year range. I had ruled out 6.0 and 6.4 and we were concentrating on the 6.7's. I was very skeptical about this pickup, base on recent experiences, and very surprised when we saw it and drove. Considering it is 9 years old (mfg. June 2010 in Kentucky)

Eh...young kids aren't supposed to be in the front anyway and I like the elbow room with no one sitting in the middle of the front seat. Usually have one of the granddaughters sitting in the center seat when we go touring from Diamond Lake. It can get kind of restrictive on twisty, winding, narrow mountain roads. Besides, that center console box is big enough you could probably easily fit two of the kids in the box with room left over to close the lid.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Play time is over. Time to get some errands run in town, insurance updated on the new to us truck and then start some clean up and yard work...O.K., I'm tired now just talking about it so it's time for a break!
Not really Chris. The seats don't fold down flat like in the 96 so we are going to do some experimenting with the dog beds and a special dog blanket cover for the seats.
