Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Going through stuff on the new to us truck and realized the jack is not there. I spaced looking for it when we were going through the pickup at the dealership on Saturday. Everything else, to include jack handles and the spare tire key, but no jack. Guess I had better round one up.

Jim, watch which hitch you have on that truck..... ask Tiny.....
& brake controller is in the dash. You can buy one and install it, but you have to program it with forscan, or take it to the stealership and let them do it
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got some light fittings dielectric grease, replaced all of the O ring seals on the mirror mounted clearance and turn lights and after a trip to NAPA replaced some of the lights that I didn't like the looks of. Also spent 2 1/2 hours getting the 3 month trial on the SirriusXM radio activated. It was interesting. Started out with "Listener" Service, then got transferred to a Low Level Tech who, after 20 minutes, transferred me to a "higher" level tech. I think that was his way of saying he had no experience beyond books, and the fellow he transferred me to was an experienced 'geek'.
Spent time trying to figure out which torklift tie downs I need. Decided I would go to the RV dealership tomorrow and have them order the ones I need and hopefully the front ones will be correct. The back pair are a given. The specific model for the front ones seems a little cloudy after I watched some of their video's and then looked at my pickup. That way I can utilize the discount I get for buying a camper from them, plus the military discount. I also won't feel so bad if I run into trouble putting the front one on and go back to them to have them finish it up.
I also have to order a Lance pig tail and get it installed.

Thanks Charlie.
I did check the hitch and the tag on the hitch when we first looked at it. Should be good to go, especially if I use the 2 1/2" leaving the 2" adapter out. Boat is 5300# with 50 gallons of gas, 13 gallons of water and boating gear and if we don't cram it full of camping gear. It has right at a 500# tongue weight.
Boat trailer has hydraulic surge brakes. So, at present, I have no anticipated uses for electric brakes. (I know, 'Famous last words') They pointed out the brake controller when we were getting ready to go on the test drive. I noticed on the control center menu that there is a selection for setting up the brakes for regular electric brakes as well as electric activated hydraulic brakes. So if I decide to upgrade the boat trailer brakes to electric activated hydraulic some day.....
