Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just about done for the day. Tomorrow will be a long day with court at 0830, shopping for mountain supplies, need to get the pickup and camper home, get the camper off, haul some brush out to the ranch burn pile......

Had a friend that had a horse that had a close encounter with a big cat. Over $3800 in vet bills. Had another friend up Gopher Valley that had a cat problem that went the other way. His wife went out to the barn to do chores in the morning and found a cat in the coral that the horses had trampled into the ground. One of the horses had a couple of scratches, but nothing that required vet care.
Do you think Metro will ever let us start effectively hunting these cats again? ODFW says they are over "target" populations in most areas and yet our quota's remain low.
