Mine were just delivered. Are the lights loose in the housings or is it the entire housing that shakes? Is this something we can test before I put them into the truck? Anyway to tighten them before install? I was really looking forward to these right up until I heard this issue.....
don’t forget to remove the black trim piece from your OEM set. These attach right to the Morimoto ones. I made the mistake of attaching the grille back and saw it didn’t look right.
I adjusted mine down then up to original and left then a little to the right with minimal shake when the door closes. I’ll report back when I drive to the rig tonight in Odessa. Hopefully I’ll be able to see all the deer tonight, the halogens were horrible for night driving in west and north Texas
After adjustments, the vibrations have been reduced dramatically. There is very little vibration as compared to at first. Still not acceptable for these lights. Light output is amazing though😎

Kind of the same scenario I went through, did you adjust the up and down and the side to side? My lights were pointing way high when I received them

I adjusted down and up and left and right a little past original position. No vibrations over bumps like I was experiencing before. Vibrations are only noticeable on sharper bumps that jolt the whole truck. BTW I’m towing a unloaded 32’ dual wheel tandem axle gooseneck flatbed trailer with 14 ply 100 psi tires. When empty/unloaded, the ride is pretty rough. I don’t know if it is contributing to the vibrations. I have not had a opportunity to drive the truck by itself at night since the adjustment.
is it a vibration or is it just the clean cutoff moving with the truck so it looks like a vibration? Thats the issue i have with my retrofit using projectors. every little bump you can see the cutoff line move and it looks like my projector is moving.

Sucks a ton you guys are having issues though.
I'd say its true vibration of the lights. One user reported it happening parked when closing their truck doors.
Sad to hear but the only way I can see this issue being resolved for you guys is to (1)...crack the housing open and stabilize what’s loose or (2)......don’t crack them open and send them back. If and when they get enough returns, rest assured this problem will be fixed or addressed immediately by Morimoto.
The next person who receives a pair, perhaps you should shake both fixtures and listen for anything that might be loose inside.
My passenger side will shake when closing the doors. After driving the truck some more I noticed even the driver side might have a very very slight shake also. Although the passenger side shakes much more and takes your attention from it.
I may have noticed it today, it was raining but dark enough the lights were on. It looked like the top of the beam cutoff so as you all have said, maybe the entire housing inside. I’ll try the adjustments you guys did when it stops raining. I’m hoping it was just the truck going over bumps and the top of the beam cutoff moving with the truck. We’ll see....
Edit: ok had my daughter shut the passenger door pretty hard and immediately noticed the light housing move. Passenger side, drivers was not as bad. I adjusted the up/ down screw and repeated the door slam. Much less movement than I originally had, Hope that helps someone.
