i didn’t have to adjust the drivers, but the passenger was easily accessible with a 8mm socket. 6.2l, just had to remover the air intake. No idea on the diesel...
Did you adjust the side to side? If so did you have to adjust them inwards or outwards? Just asking because I only adjusted the vertical adjustment.
How did it go for you Gazoo? Did you have any vibration in yours?
Robert,
Install went well. Although I did not use the included fuse jump. I made my own with an inline fuse that works much better. The one in the kit has a tendency to work its way loose. So far very minimal vibration when doing the door shut test. I really did not notice any vibration when driving to work this morning, however it was not totally dark. I have a late appointment on Thursday night so that will be a good test. I do have to say that these lights are awesome. As other have stated the output is so much better than the stock halogens and the DRl's are very bright. The sequencing blinkers are extremely cool.

Stephen, I'm glad it went well for you!!! Hopefully you won't have any vibration on your night travel. I would imagine the truck will vibrate a bit when slamming a door. Your road test will be the true test! I'm hoping that you will report back again afterwards. Thank you for the reply.
So are you guys having to mount these, check alignment, then dismount them, align, and repeat the procedure again? Or are you actually able to do full adjustment with the lights mounted? I've seen conflicting reports and would appreciate feedback. Good to hear you're not seeing much vibration as of yet, Gazoo. I'm also interested in how your drive Thu. goes. Thank you for sharing.
OK, So I followed the steps I found online for x/y axis setup for aligning my lights at 25ft.. I didn't follow the morimoto instructions by using my factory set as the correct alignment and try to match my new headlights to the factory setup. The dot on front of the morimoto headlight sits at 42 inches on my truck which would be my X axis. I'm blinding the *#&^ out of oncoming traffic with this logic. What are you guys setting your X axis at?
You cant access the Left/Right on the driver side without removing the light for the 6.2.

Thanks. Are you (still?) seeing the vibration/shake others have complained about?
So far I am not noticing a shake or vibration. That being said my F350 has a pretty stiff suspension so she bounces a bit on bumpy roads as it is......
I haven't read through the thread too much yet, but it seems like I'm not the only one who can't get the DRL harness installed in the fuse box. Doesn't fit the way they have it routed. I'm guessing this is whats preventing the 'bugatti' sequence because mine aren't doing that yet.
That aside, I have a bad set. One of the turn signal boards is dead. So I've got two issues, after waiting over 6 months for the headlights. Not really happy about it, HOWEVER
They look fricken awesome. I had been waiting to install my black bumper at the same time I did the headlights, so my truck got a hell of a makeover yesterday. Overall quality on the headlights I would actually say is great, despite the issues aforementioned. My only real complaint in the design is that all 4 LED's are aimed slightly lower of each other, so you don't really get the sharpest cutoff that you expect with a high quality projector. They are BRIGHT though, almost too bright I think lol. The beam is so bright in the center I think its actually burning my retinas a bit, from behind. It makes it quite hard to see things beyond the cutoff line. I'm definitely finishing my custom fog lights sooner than later, because these things kinda fail to light up the ditches as well as I expect, especially in a turn. They don't project very wide.
All quirks aside, I would still highly recommend these bad boys. 100 times better than the stock halogen pieces of **** that blind everybody going down the road.
PICS: (don't judge my aim, I'm not going to finish it until my broken headlight gets replaced)
