Sorry to hear about everyone’s issues, guess I’m in the minority. From what I understand, a lot of these units are shipped and they are not adjusted at all, so once you do adjust them it may fix your issue. I drove around last night after adjusting and saw zero vibration.
TRS is sending me the fuse adapter/ extender which will allow my DRL fuse tap to fit. Once that’s in, I’m happy. Very happy, these things look awesome and the light beam is amazing.
everyone has an opinion, but after seeing these and looking at the OEM LEDs, the Morimotos hands down look better to me. It’s not even close.

My vibration is only in one headlight. It sounds like you received a good pair...congrats. Adjustments did not my fix my problem. I was told I would have to pay for shipping if I wanted a refund. The Morimoto headlights are awesome and I want them to work as designed. After submitting two videos, I should be receiving a new headlight within their next shipment. It's a pain to deal with considering the amount of money and time wasted on receiving the first pair.
I really hope these lights are of good quality, because I still really want them. But I don't believe for a second that The Retrofit Source isn't aware of quality issues. As I mentioned in a post awhile back, weeks ago TRS told me I hadn't received my DECEMBER order because they were 100% inspecting and testing all assemblies that go out the door. Definitely not common practice for a distributor/retailer to be 100% testing vendor components, especially from a vendor (Morimoto) they tout as being of such outstanding quality, and their (TRS) direct orders are so backed up (I still haven't received mine). I'm afraid these have some major issues (like a rattle that requires the assembly to be opened/resealed, etc)...but I hope I'm wrong!

Are you serious!? That's insane, and sorry to hear they won't step up and at least offer you a refund without cost to you, given the ridiculousness they expect their buyers to endure. That's pathetic.
Dang, I'm nervous about installing mine. Because I have a heavy bumper/winch combo that may have to come off , I'd be one peeved guy if I found out one of the lamps rattled. I've only taken one of the headlights out of the box to check it out, which is the passenger side light. I'm wondering if there's some way to check for vibration prior to installing these. Man, these look like such high quality lights. I'm wondering if it a design flaw that may show up later too. Will Morimoto stand behind their five year warranty. Has anyone searched the web to see others are having this vibration problem or is it just isolated to the few guys on this thread so far?
TRS has the OEM LED lights as well but by the time you purchase these with the proper harness, it's $2400 and I guess there's problems with the harnesses to make these work as well.
What do I do?
Shame you/we are in this situation. TRS needs to finally step up and be honest with everyone and be fair about this. Think it’s safe to say that hasn’t happened yet.
I called Recon today. They will have another offering out in 8-10 weeks which is when Morimotos will be back in stock. I am going to play the waiting game and see what they look like.

I am installing mine today. I figure I have them, might as well try them. We will see how it plays out.
I sure am glad I did a refund before my order was shipped. I would caution anyone who goes the recon route. I ordered tail lights, when i ordered the morimoto head lights. When they arrived a note was inside saying they were not DOT approved. I checked and they were illegal to use in Virginia where I live. I returned them to Recon, and was charged a 20 percent restocking fee. There are countless customer service horror stories online with Recon that I discovered after my ordeal.
Anybody figure a way to adjust them without taking the grill off?
I can't see a way to get to the adjusters.
No vibration in my set, but not impressed with the high beams.
So.... anybody have pictures yet of what the new Recon LED's for 2017+ Super Duties are going to look like? Anybody doing/done Beta testing for them? Any rumors at all on how good/not good they're supposed to be?
As a customer getting ready to buy a new lighting solution, the top 3 choices, in order as of this moment are:
OEM LED's w/Recons plug n' play harness
Recon's yet-to-be-released solution w/their plug n' play harness
Roll the dice w/these Morimotos and pray you'll be taken care of if you get the vibration issue

They are not legal anywhere in the US. There is a reason for that and it has to do with testing because DOT "approved" is largely a self certification process.

Missing anything?
Anzo's are another option. Guy on the phone at recon said they will have led bars, led signals, come in a black or chrome version. Unfortunately they will be halogen like the anzo's which would require either led bulbs or HID conversion if you want that 6000k white look.

i didn’t have to adjust the drivers, but the passenger was easily accessible with a 8mm socket. 6.2l, just had to remover the air intake. No idea on the diesel...
