Using Win10 with the Firefox browser.
I'll try the source button next time. Seems like a funny extra step (don't have any idea what the source button does, but I've heard you guys talking about it in the past) but willing to give it a try since re-formatting each post each time I make the mistake of cutting and pasting is even more of a hassle!
Now I wonder what it will take to get the cursor to follow normal protocols...
Thanks
Paul

What the source button dose is show you the HTML commands on the page.
Say you change the color of something. Try that and then hit the source button.
It will show you the HTML coding on the page. Being able to see the coding when
your trying to format something can be very handy. Also in addition to showing
you the coding it also turns off the inline display of commands. So the item you
changed the color on will not longer show that color and it will show the command
or that color.

For a while now, I have been getting a “Check Out What’s New” pop up with a dark screen when I click on the first thread after l log on. After I acknowledge it, the pop up stays off for the entire time I stay logged into that particular session. This morning, I started getting the same pop up every single time I click on a different thread. Is there anyway to stop this from happening, because it’s pretty aggravating. In case this helps to figure out the issue, I am using an iPad. Thanks.

This last update a few weeks ago seemed to have settled some issues.
One that is still there that I have not mentioned is if you use the color picker tool.
Here is an example of the issue I made the color green and it should of stopped
and returned to black at the end of what I had highlighted. The only way to end it with
out changing the color is to use the Source button and type some text after the [ / color ].
Here is the line as it looks when you click on the Source button.

It is nice that is does use the proper formatting and is easy enough to work around. The two
ways to get around it are to use the Source button of edit the color once you have all the text done.
I guess one could also end any color selections with this command [ /color ]

Huh. That's a good catch. Thanks.
