Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Replacing the pair of Interstate 24 series 550 cca Marine/RV batteries in the camper with some Excide 27 series 730 cca with 20 hr RC @ 100 amp. The 27/730's had been backups to the old Lance Camper (which had one battery) and the boat. The 24's will move into the back up mode. Don't really need them for backups to the boat batteries anymore, but will keep them for that purpose for that 'unexpected' moment..

They were John. That team won the 'medium weight' division at 8,000 lbs. sled weight. The same folks had an identical team in the 'heavy weight' division that won that event as well. The heavy weight team had a combined weight of 4750 lbs. Their winning sled was filled to the top of the racks with the sand bags and had 3 150lb guys thrown in to boot because they ran out of sand bags!
Got to spend a lot of time listening to mother recount farming with the teams, and her favorite two draft horses, 'Mac' and 'Bubbles'. We still have a bunch of the harnesses out in the old 'granary'.
Morning all. 2nd week of hell is almost done. Water/fishing therapy should help recovery and prep for round 3 next week. Could use a nap...been up since 0230 since we had to drop off the step daughter at PDX to catch a 0600 flight. No reason to go home so just came into the office at 0530. 2nd pot of coffee will go on here shortly. Gonna be a long day....
