Good morning everyone. If I was gonna get a generator for the house I’d probably go propane. Easier to store than gas/diesel, longer shelf life, and less likely to get disrupted by an earthquake than natural gas.
I would agree with Evan. However diesel I believe is the next best choice. It last longer than gas and if it has no bio-diesel and you at the stabilizer you can get 12 to 18 months. Also the Diesel generator are rated to last longer.
Morning Evan. For me, it's just to cover the outages. And, truly, they don't happen as much anymore, since they replace our main power line in the neighborhood.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Long, long day today.
With the s#$t that has hit the fan this week, it doesn't look like we will get to go to the boat show. Oh well, we have a 22.5' hole in the water to sink money into sitting right next to the house.
HA! Well if nothing else, when you walk around and are flabbergasted at the new boat prices, you will like your current hole in the water even more!
I actually work a booth there for a manufacturer. This year more than any in 12 years, I have come to realize I can no longer participate in the new boat game. The boat I have now is likely the last boat I'll ever own. The prices are well... Crazy...
With house prices, rent, price of new truck, boat prices, I am really starting to feel like the other half. Thank goodness I have accumulated the items needed cause otherwise my new hobby would be taking the bus to go hiking.

The boat we have and use now is a 92 with the 4.3L Alpha 1. I think it will do until the motor wears out, then a replacement will take care of that. If I can get the brakes worked out on the trailer, I'll be a happy boater.
Hello Evan, Jim and.............
Tomorrow I get to have fun delivering the Columbia County route. I'm learning it but the learning curve has been steep.
