Whaddupp fellers!
Tim is with us through the weekend. He cut a tendon in his left had and had surgery Wednesday, so he's staying with us through the weekend.
Surgery went really well. The Dr. was really counting on having to do two separate surgeries. But he was able to do what needed to be done in one!
Just got off the phone with the lender, he's hoping to have us a total amount that we can barrow later today.
Smoker has been going since it was still dark out. Tim misses the Ol' mans BBQ, so there's an #18 pounder Brisket in there.
Sorry to hear about your son. Hope he heals up fast. Send some of that brisket our way. We're narrowing down dates. Does April 20th potentially work for you?

Thanks buddy, Tim's healing nicely. So far April 20th is fine here. I'm really wanting to get out and see you boy's.
No, I was laid up all weekend fighting the flu... again... however that didn't stop me from getting Popeye, the kitten in to the vet school, to get his eye fixed. I thought with only one working eye he was a handful... with two working eyes, he's twice as rambunctious.
But I still have a 10 lb butt in the fridge, so I may get up and throw it on the smoker before starting working in the morning. Try to keep it going through the day. Doubt it'll be any shorter than a 10 hour smoke. Won't get chance to do it Saturday and I don't know what time I'd get it on the smoke on Sunday if I waited that long.
