Oh I've already got ideas... since the mud pits have "powerwheel" classes. It may or may not involve a couple starters and a good car battery.

Congratulations Larry. Awesome news.

Start stocking up on sleep. Save some in a jar.

Guess it's getting to that time of the year where I'm ready to start planning the fun trips for the spring.

What's everyone feeling about Uwharrie again this year?

Well Since we like to time things (accidentally) with the Jeep Jamboree, I'm throwing out April 7th Weekend as a possible choice.

James mentioned everyone likes to be by the lake. However looking at the campsites at Arrowhead last time, they have power and I don't think they have the alcohol restrictions, also may not have that wonderful aroma we had last time...

I'm going to say power is a necessity.. without power or the inverter we won't have the Race Track Chilli, and I have to say that was one of my favorite parts this past trip.

There's nothing like a good bowl (or 3) of chilli after you have been out in the woods all day getting dirty.

Damn, I need to make that stuff this weekend now that I think about it.

Plan what works best for the most.

But here are potential dates I won't be able to make until I get confirmation in late January.

I only have to attend one but I don't know which one yet.

April 6-8, 13-15, 20-22, 27-29
May 4-6, 11-13, 18-20

I'll let yall know as soon as I get confirmation about which weekend.

I love the white fluffy stuff. I'm like OTL. I could use a good 4x4. Can't exactly drive in snow with my 2wd dually that well. It might weigh 6800lbs but those dual's act like slicks in the snow! Hence one reason I want to trade it for a 4wd. Need to down size too...

Ah.. it's North Carolina, It'll be gone by tomorrow if we get any. Just make sure you have extra bread and eggs. That is unless you live close to Tony... then the weather there acts like a completely different country!

If people have black out dates, besides our fearless leader, for the Sping Fling, post them up.
