I'm dealing with this as well. I have my truck all pulled apart. both A pillars, headliner, fuse box area kick panel....very frustrating as everything else has been plug and play

Just received notification from FedEx that my parts will be here by Sat 12/16. I really appreciate the photos on install and any additional you guys provide would really help out!

If you don't already have part #HC3Z-15A404-A you will need it. It's the cable that goes from the dash plug (as shown by Farmcat) up the A-pillar to the console.

The way I ended up doing this install was by pulling down the inner drivers fender well to access the pig tail. That also helped in routing the power cable. Which I may add was not easy. It's a stiff *** cable with a 90 degree lug on the end. I also pulled the air box to aid routing the cable to the main fuse box.

Thanks for the pic.
Yes, I have HC3Z-15A404-A coming. Christmas break is coming up and guess what I'll be doing in my heated garage...

So I found the connector for the upfitter harness and have that repositioned when I can plug the upfitter box in.

I see the harness has a bunch of clips to attach it.

Do those pins have definite holes along the wiring route where the push in/attach? Any additional pictures of this wiring's routing like under the truck, where it comes up by the battery, clocking of the (+) connector at the battery, etc.

Would you suggest removing the inner fender or does it just need to be pulled down where it meets the fender lip?

I'm taking lots of pictures as I go, but I need a little clarification of these points. My plan is a definitive thread showing install, step by step, including part numbers and I will give full credit for any assistance provided here.

I didn't pull the inner fender nor did I find the holes for the pins. I followed another harness that goes under the radiator fan cowl and zip tied everything in place as I went.

I followed the existing harness also. There were holes and clamps along the way. I used them when I could find them and used a few tyraps as well. The clamps were found along the route under the fan shroud and a couple more near the left and right headlight.

Thanks for the additional info. I was looking for a route over the top, maybe under that black plastic tray between the grill and upper radiator. Might pop that off tomorrow and have a look.

Either of you guys...did you need to drop the headliner down or just fish the power cable from the console hole to the A-pillar?

I assume the only way to know if you have this part number is to pull the A pillar of and look for a harness, correct?

I dropped the headliner enough to reach in. There's a connector that has to be swapped with the new cable.
Running the power lead over the top would be easier , you'll just have shorten the cable. I considered just running the power lead to the driver side battery and adding a fuse but wanted to keep things as close to factory as I could.

Grrr. Console arrived today...BROKEN. Sunglass holder fell out in my hand when the package was opened.

Back it goes, and the wait continues. Figure I can do everything else and when new console arrives simply pop it out and plug in the new...

These two pictures show retainer clip locations and what part # HC3Z-28519A58-JE looks like. I have the power rear window and proximity
sensors for the alarm.

rob40 - I'd call it beige, not brown. My interior headliner is grey, the visors were grey (now black as I changed them out with a set that had the door opener), my dash, carpets and seats are black. Does that help?
