Well I pulled the ipr off and found this with the orings I know the one is supposed to be split but idk if they were able to seal with such a high pressure just causing the low pressure. I'll go to oregon fuel injection Monday and get the seal kit and throw it back together and see what happens. Maybe I can finally drive this thing after never hearing it running

That's the oil out of my hpop it's milky but no sparkles though

That's one of the smaller pieces in the ipr looks like a tiny screw driver slot I didn't try to take it apart just the 4 big pieces and 2 pins
Also which way does the tiny pin go in 1 way is turned down or tapered the other isnt

Well I got it fired up and it runs like crap I gave it a hit of starting fluid I know big no no and it fired it's cranking to slow to build enough pressure to start on its own. Once I got it fired it started making a loud tapping noise not like a rod knock though and it started running rough and when I give it throttle it revved slow like a big delay or something anyone have an idea?

Oil is like that from poor maintenance before I got it they never let it warm up and they just cranked on it the starter was loose when I got it like they cranked it so much it came loose. And both uvch are new I just replaced them and triple checked they were on right cause the valve covers are a pita to to r&r

Sooooo, I just looked through all 9 pages again and saw the mess in your valve covers again. That doesn’t look like condensation, it looks like junk. It looks like you need an oil change, like yesterday. That is probably why you don’t see oil squirting under the covers while cranking. Oil in these things turns black as it goes along. This may be one of your major problems from the beginning. Under the valve covers, how did the top of the motor look?
I would be prepared to do 2 oil changes. One to flush the system and see how it does. Then evaluate the oil color and possiblely do it again to ensure you got that junk out.

The oil in the pan all looks like it should normal black as coal oil I'm gonna flush it out today and run it for a few days and a couple heat cycles and change it again. There was alot of that sludgy looking stuff under the valve covers but not a whole lot on the valve springs or injectors it all kinda hung onto the valve cover

Well I went ahead and drained the oil and wow it's milky it's not as bad as some I've seen where it's almost white but its a decent amount of moisture more than just lack of maintenance I bet. So it didn't skip a bad or steam coming out of the tailpipe when I got it running should I pull the oil cooler? Or pressure test the cooling system or just yard the heads or just do what I've wanted to do for the past month and part it out?

Looks to be about 3-3.5 gallons I have old oil I still have laying around from changing out the oil in my cummins wondering if I shouldn't dump that in after i run it through a cheese cloth and run for a couple minutes to see if it gets milky right away. I know I'm being cheap but the oil is black and moisture shows up quick new oil is harder to spot if it's clean

So whats the chance it's headgaskets or is it more likely it's the oil cooler?

At this point the only viable solution is to perform a coolant pressure test, that oil is mixed with coolant, chances are the oil cooler, the other head gasket.

I'm currently doing a pressure test on the coolant system and I'm about 15 minutes in and im down maybe a half pound bit it's getting colder out too so ill let it sit foe 45 minutes to an hour and see if it's doing anything different I started with a 20psi pressure and the motor is completely cold also I drained the oil cause im doing a oil change if I can ever find my damn filter wrench
Any idea what this is it fell out when I changed the filter?

Probably to the anti drainback valve in the filter head? Should have had a circlip and a little plate in there as well.

That engine needs to be pulled and redone, period. I am wondering why you are still fooling with it or talking about it? LOL...that thing is toast.
