Thanks. I thought the sleeve portion of the bolt would go in further and more threads would be exposed on other side of nut. I probably over torqued and will need to back off some - I assume 66 ft/lbs is what FOX specifies?
According to FOX they are shipped with 50 psi and can go to 200 psi (but as you implied more pressure makes it pull to left) . My problem that I am trying to correct a right pull that the dealer can't (spent 2 weeks in shop).
Just installed the fox single the other day. Best money I have spent on the truck by far. I guess I wasted a lot of money when I had the dual fox installed with the 2"level kit. In my opinion, the dual is a waste of money. Finally my truck is the way I want it. Wish I would have done this months ago
I installed one this week. Looks about like mine. Torqued to 66 ft/lb. It is a press fit.
I did notice a slight left pull at 75 mph. I was checking the valve pressure and let all the air/nitrogen out. Now no left pull. Di not seem to affect the performance at all.
You'll want to get it recharged with nitrogen, the purpose of the inert gas is to prevent foaming, and once this happens, the damper is useless.

In a month it'll be "my 60k truck is clunking and I can't find out why?!?!?! F YOU FORD!" lmao
My FOX steering stabilizer didn't have instructions. I don't think the double threaded bolt is seating correctly. I can only barely turn the nut with a 2' lever. Is this how the bolt is suppose to be? Should I try an impact wrench? OEM stabilizer was very hard to remove, couldn't do it with a spreader, had to use a puller.
looking at this picture, you need to add another washer between the rubber bushing and the (silver) hex nut on the stud, otherwise in time it will start cutting into the rubber.

I’ll second that remark. It’s the best $$ I’ve spent thus far. Smooth as glass now and front is PLANTED. Gonna have my pro check the alignment of the driveline in the morning. The rear-end feels alittle rough around 75-85 and I just want to make sure I don’t need any shims under the factory blocks w/the 2.5” level.
Installed mine a couple weeks ago before a two week, 2200 mile vacation with our travel trailer. Best money I have spent on the truck so far! Bumpsteer is essentially gone.
