I had the same conversation and even a second email response from Fox saying the same thing about 3 weeks ago

I really don't care what some uninformed support person says. I had a problem. I put that stabilizer on, no more problem.

What's left to say?

I’d like to know where the part I bought from Suspension Connection falls short for 17-18 fitment.
it fits like a glove and measures alongside the ford installed unit identically.

Where’s the issue and did Suspension Connection make the call on their own? I don’t think so?

Is the valving different? What is it?

I talked to a Fox rep that was at RaceTech today, he thinks the updated part is just going to come without the rubber bump stop on the shaft, but the guy he was talking to at HQ thought the current part was fine for 17+'s already....

I don't really care either way, works great for me.

That's funny because I ordered one for my 18 and installed it. Works awesome.

This is exactly what I was told by Fox. The new shocks for the 17-18s will not have the rubber stopper, but will not be different other than that. I have zero issues and the truck drives great

Has anyone ran into any issues with steering stabilizers and changing tire size, in regards to the adaptive steering? I want to do a 2.5 carli leveling kit but theres so much electronic stuff on my truck I'm afraid to change anything?

No Stock Stabilizer?

I’m purchased this Fox Stabilizer to have installed with my level kit, wheels and tires. The guys at the shop are telling me I don’t have a stock stabilizer so this is not a direct swap out. Does that sounds right? They are now calling fox to see about sourcing some me brackets to complete the installs

This is for a 2017 250 SRW 6.7L Platinum CCSB

thanks!

Wow, no, that's very wrong and I would be taking my truck somewhere else. This is aftermarket 101 stuff.

It's tucked up above the front axle. They want to mount it like a dual stabilizer in front of the axle. Have one of their lazy asses look under the truck, way up above the front axle and they'll see it.

yeah, i thought it was weird too. I may just take it home and do it myself.

Thanks for confirming.

Is this right?

My FOX steering stabilizer didn't have instructions. I don't think the double threaded bolt is seating correctly. I can only barely turn the nut with a 2' lever. Is this how the bolt is suppose to be? Should I try an impact wrench? OEM stabilizer was very hard to remove, couldn't do it with a spreader, had to use a puller.

appreciate any advice.

I installed one this week. Looks about like mine. Torqued to 66 ft/lb. It is a press fit.

I did notice a slight left pull at 75 mph. I was checking the valve pressure and let all the air/nitrogen out. Now no left pull. Di not seem to affect the performance at all.
